The Jupiter/Neptune square is narrowing. It won’t be exact until the 21st. However, all of those personal planets in Virgo will bring it to the forefront this coming week. To read more about the Jupiter/Neptune square of 2019, check out this week’s update.

It’s time to get down to business with the New Moon in Virgo. And it looks like we’re coming out of the gate racing with this one.

People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. (Thich Nhat Hanh) By the end of next week we will have a total of 7 planets in Earth signs. Time to connect with all of that Earth energy.

We are winding down the last weeks of August, and with that the Summer season here in the Northern Hemisphere. Virgo marks the gradual transition to the Fall, as it marks the transition to Spring in the Southern Hemisphere. Even this week both Mars and Venus will lead the vanguard entering Virgo even before the Sun and Mercury. And so the transition begins. To read more, click through to the weekly updates.

Jupiter stations Direct on Sunday. Uranus stations Retrograde the same day. All this as we lead up to the Aquarius Full Moon on the 15th, accompanied by Venus in all her glory.

Mercury has only just stationed, and will need another week to get up to speed. But the one to pay attention to next week, is the Jupiter station which follows on August 11th.

The Moon is waning as we approach the New Moon on the 31st (or 1st). At the same time, Mercury is slowing for its Direct station on the same day (and hour). New beginnings are percolating as we speak. 

In the middle of the retrograde phase of Mercury we have the inferior conjunction, when Mercury crosses the path of the Sun and is rendered invisible in the sky. It is now when Mercury’s outer nature is eclipsed but its inner essential nature is at its height. This is also when we mark the beginning of the next Mercury cycle. 

On July 16th, we have the Lunar Eclipse, the 2nd of the current pairing of eclipses. In the sign of Capricorn, and within a few degrees of transiting Pluto, we may ask ourselves, what needs to change in order to make things more sustainable?

Mercury stalls for its retrograde station this week under the influence of fiery Mars and unpredictable Uranus. Talk about fireworks! Best to lie low if you can this week….
