We are still in the midst of the Eclipse Season which lasts through to the Solar Eclipse on August 11th. But in the mean time, a total of 5 planets (plus Chiron) are currently retrograde, with Uranus making its station for its retrograde phase next week. All of the really important work is being focused within.

The dreaded Total Lunar Eclipse of 2018 is upon us. Even Eclipses can present with opportunities, but this one just looks so darn unpredictable. Like an epic storm approaching from the distance, it has the capacity to change the landscape, change the paradigm, and even change our lives.

It is beginning to heat up. The excitable and changeable Total Lunar Eclipse could easily bring a few upsets over the next few weeks. Combine that with the retrograde station of Mercury just before, and this could be a very interesting period, indeed. It is time to strap on those seat belts people, we’ve got a bit of bumpy weather ahead.

The New Moon Thursday night (or Friday, depending on where you live), is also a partial Solar Eclipse. But what makes it especially significant is its exact opposition to Pluto.

Jupiter will station next week and resume direct motion. May we all be guided by Jupiter’s magnanimous glory to follow the path of generosity, wisdom, and understanding. We will need these vast resources over the coming months as we are now entering Eclipse season. 

Last week Mars stationed retrograde in the sign of Aquarius. This week the Centaur Chiron will be stationing for its retrograde phase. It will be returning to Pisces for some unfinished business in September. In the mean time, there are some important things for us to pay attention to. 

This coming week Mars is going to station and appear to stand still. This is in preparation for its Retrograde phase which will last from June 26th thru August 26th. Will we reverse course? Take a step back? Be stopped in our tracks? Just realize, no matter how much you might like to, there’s no escaping now. This will become evident with the Full Moon in Capricorn on Thursday, June 28th. 

We are now approaching the Summer Solstice (Winter in the Southern Hemisphere), one of the important magical corners of the Solar Year. It is a time of power and initiation but it is also a time of family, home and culture. We also enter into the retrograde phase of Neptune, which stations on June 18th. We may not be able to see it, but there will be a super New Moon in Gemini next week. And although we may not be able to see this moon, its effects on the tides of the seas, the earth, and the affairs of humanity will be felt that much more. May the impetus of the New Moon help you to overcome any obstacles in your path with dexterity, skill and ease.
