As we approach the Solstice (and the Full Moon) next week, the Sun makes some important transits to both Chiron and Uranus, which are both transitioning for good from one sign to the next, in 2019. And then there’s that Mercury/Jupiter conjunction.

We open the week with a New Moon in Sagittarius. This immediately follows the most welcome station of Mercury, and precedes the station of Chiron (which we noted last week were trine).

We are entering the last quarter phase of the Moon, Mercury is in its last week of the Retrograde phase, and Mars approaches its conjunction with Neptune. But probably the most remarkable transit for the upcoming week is the extended trine between stationing Mercury and stationing Chiron.

A Full Moon in Gemini square Mars, while Mercury is retrograde and Neptune is stationing is like driving while drunk and texting. The only remedy for this sort of weather is a great deal of mindfulness. To read more about the current weather check out this week’s update.

No sooner does Venus station Direct on the 16th, then Mercury stations Retrograde. This week’s post is all about the retrograde phase of Mercury and what to expect from November 16th thru December 6th.

So many transitions this past week. More to come next week as well! This week we focus on Jupiter entering Sagittarius, the sign of Hope and Inspiration. To read more check out this week’s essay.

Next week we have a New Moon in Scorpio. Just one day before, Uranus will return to Aries where it will take care of some additional shifts. And if you use the True Nodes, these will also shift on the same day to the Cancer/Capricorn axis, creating an exact square with Uranus. The day after the New Moon Jupiter enters its own sign of Sagittarius, and will make a trine to the North Node. We will address that more next week. But all this attention to the Nodes, and the planetary changes are certainly something to pay attention to.

First off: the inferior conjunction of Venus which occurs in the middle of the retrograde phase, marking the subtle New Moon phase of Venus. Then an exact trine between Jupiter and Chiron.

Full Moons can often be emotional, revealing and unpredictable. All the more so this one next week. Whatever changes have been brewing, are now coming to the forefront. As of now, we are all on Full Moon alert.
