One might not even know where to begin. The upcoming week is filled with so much Astrology. There is an interesting New Moon in Virgo on Sunday (to find out how interesting, read the essay); a sextile between Jupiter and Pluto; Mars goes back into Aquarius for a bit of excitement .We begin the week with an illuminating Grand Trine in the earth signs. Need we say more?

We are gradually emerging from the doldrums of retrograde mania. Mercury and Mars are now Direct. And these are to be followed by the Station of Saturn next week. Not only do we begin to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but we may even see a plan unfolding before us.

This coming week is both wonderful and complicated: our warrior planet finally stations Direct on Monday, following the illuminating and transcendent Full Moon on Sunday; all followed by some powerful configurations known as Thor’s Hammer.

As we emerge out of the chaos of Eclipse season, Mercury finally stations Direct. Now we only have 5 planets retrograde, plus Chiron. But even this small step requires some celebration, especially as it is accompanied by the wonderful Jupiter/Neptune trine!

On Saturday, we have the last of the 3 eclipses for this season. And what a season it has been. This partial Solar Eclipse is in the sign of Leo, a sign of joy, celebration and enthusiasm. We are still in the midst of the Eclipse Season which lasts through to the Solar Eclipse on August 11th. But in the mean time, a total of 5 planets (plus Chiron) are currently retrograde, with Uranus making its station for its retrograde phase next week. All of the really important work is being focused within.

The dreaded Total Lunar Eclipse of 2018 is upon us. Even Eclipses can present with opportunities, but this one just looks so darn unpredictable. Like an epic storm approaching from the distance, it has the capacity to change the landscape, change the paradigm, and even change our lives.

It is beginning to heat up. The excitable and changeable Total Lunar Eclipse could easily bring a few upsets over the next few weeks. Combine that with the retrograde station of Mercury just before, and this could be a very interesting period, indeed. It is time to strap on those seat belts people, we’ve got a bit of bumpy weather ahead.

The New Moon Thursday night (or Friday, depending on where you live), is also a partial Solar Eclipse. But what makes it especially significant is its exact opposition to Pluto.

Jupiter will station next week and resume direct motion. May we all be guided by Jupiter’s magnanimous glory to follow the path of generosity, wisdom, and understanding. We will need these vast resources over the coming months as we are now entering Eclipse season.
