Horoscopes: June 12th thru the 19th

June 11, 2026 Lauren Coleman

For the New Moon in Gemini for your natal sign, or the house where 24º of Gemini falls in your chart:

Aries

(3rd House) The New Moon in Gemini is an opportunity for Aries to take a detour from their usual solitary quest, in order to ask for directions. You will want to do this before Mercury stations retrograde at the end of the month. Mercury has just entered its shadow and so will be gradually slowing for the station. You all want to make sure that the information you are taking with you into the retrograde phase is factual and valid. For at that point you will be wanting to process and consider all that you have been learning. In the mean time, now that the Moon is new and in Gemini, make that phone call. Have your say. Share your story. Ask the questions, with hopes of receiving clarifying answers. Use the New Moon to learn something new; better manage your time, or to set the intention to communicate, write or speak more effectively. When you set you mind in order then all else will follow. In order to get that clarity you seek, focus in on what it is that you really need to know. The distractions will try to lead you here, there and everywhere. Cut to the chase. Focus on what matters most. Then make the commitment with the New Moon in Gemini to get yourself back on track.

Taurus

(2nd House) Your ruling planet Venus enters Leo this weekend bringing your focus closer to home. It’s also letting you know where certain areas of your life may have become imbalanced, and what you can do to restore that balance. It may seem overwhelming at face value. Just know that when you have things in order in the most critical areas of your life, all else will naturally fall into place. Venus in Leo wants you to think in terms of taking things into your own hands, but in a way that takes everyone’s needs into consideration. So much more can get accomplished when you are willing to work with others who are on the same page, and have the same interests in common, than you could on your own. The New Moon in Gemini is trying to get your priorities in order. And that is especially so, if you find that your focus has become scattered by trying to do too many things all at once. Taking care of those priorities now, will make things a lot easier in the long run. The New Moon in Gemini is often a good moon to work with in order to create some sort of financial plan, or to look for ways to be more resourceful, or to live within a budget. But while you are at it embrace Venus entering Leo, while releasing any self-sabotaging actions that might undermine ownership, security and your personal stability. Then make the intention with the New Moon: May prosperity be mine in a way that benefits everyone concerned.

Gemini

(1st House) The New Moon on Sunday (or Monday, depending on where you are) is at 24º Gemini 03’, and will affect most strongly those Geminis born between June 12th and the 16th, or who have 21-27º Gemini Rising. Yet all Geminis will benefit from their annual New Moon. Fresh with the newness that the New Moon brings, you will want to make sure that whatever new initiatives are being spawned at this time are a reflection of your true self. Make this a time for renewed self-awareness and self-knowing. All the more so now that Uranus has recently entered your sign. Reacquaint yourself with your personal interests and sense of identity. Uranus wants you to become a truer, more authentic version of yourself. Make room for more of who you are. Cull out what you have outgrown, and is no longer valid for the person you are becoming. This is your annual New Moon. Therefore decide what seeds you want to plant for the year ahead: what interests you wish to pursue, what you might want more of, what you wish to become more informed about, and what seems to be tweaking your fascination as you embark on the journey of becoming. A good intention for the New Moon might be: Today is the first day of the rest of my life, may I recognize the steps that will help me to realize my most heartfelt dreams.

Cancer

(12th House) This year the New Moon in Gemini could begin with something of a review of all that has brought you to this place in time. This is because the New Moon coincides with Mercury entering its shadow, in preparation for its retrograde station on June 29th. Because of its retrograde phase being entirely in the sign of Cancer, Mercury will spend an extraordinary amount of time in your sign this year. As Mercury begins to slow for its station, combined with the New Moon in Gemini, the next several weeks are going to involve a great deal of reassessing, reviewing and reflection. Don’t be surprised to find yourself releasing and letting go of certain things and situations that you have outgrown and that are no longer relevant for where you are now. In order to make the most of this period you might want to turn down some of the noise of the outer world, in order to pay attention to your own inner narratives. Release the negative chatter, but lean into the message of hope that Venus and Jupiter were trying to instill last week in your sign. By doing all this releasing you are then allowed to walk much lighter and less burdened into the future. If you choose to withdraw, do so in order to gain deeper clarity, to connect to your dreams, to find your voice. A good intention for the New Moon might be: May I have the courage to release those things that I no longer need, and that prevent me from reaching my full potential.

Leo

(11th House) This weekend Venus enters your sign where she will eventually make a direct opposition to Pluto in Aquarius. It can be challenging when you come face to face with your own insecurities. Especially in the face of extraordinary outside pressures. Venus in your sign is asking you to reassess your own self-worth and value. The more secure you are with who you are and what you have to offer, the less intimidated you will feel, and the more likely you will see the creative potential that can be culled from any challenges you are currently facing. If you are compelled to make a pivot this week, be willing to see where that might be taking you. One thing that you may become aware of is that when you are willing to collaborate with others, you can accomplish so much more than you could on your own. The New Moon in Gemini is an excellent moon to work with if hoping to network or make important connections. This is a time of year in which you are likely to find your associates, gather with those of like mind and intention. But it is also where you connect with your ideals, hopes and wishes for the future. Therefore use the New Moon in Gemini to connect with your hopes and dreams. Make a list. Then release it out into the Universe. Then also send the intention along with these hopes for the future that: If this dream is meant to be for me, may the best possible circumstances arise to see it fulfilled.

Virgo

(10th House) This week your ruling planet, Mercury, enters the shadow preceding its retrograde station on June 29th. So although we begin the week with a New Moon in Gemini, which is associated with new starts, new beginnings, and sometimes new opportunities, Mercury is asking us all to go cautiously and not jump into things without checking everything out thoroughly. What this New Moon is good for, are things like clarifying for yourself what goals you want to aim for over the year ahead. What sorts of achievements might you want to prioritize? With Uranus making its exact square to the South Node in your sign this week, think about the things that you want to unload and let go of. It’s a time to pass the torch on to others. To let go of certain responsibilities that could be distracting you from your most important priorities. Uranus is trying to free you up in some way, so that you can better concentrate on the important things. Discuss your plans for the future with others. Get more information about where you might see yourself going. Ask for advice. Get clarification. And then create your own plan for the future, allowing for whatever adjustments you might need to be make along the way. A good intention for the New Moon in Gemini might be: May I be led to realize my life’s path and purpose.

Libra

(9th House) Your ruling planet Venus enters Leo this week, bringing some hard truths home for your consideration. It may feel like abandonment or rejection, but when you are willing to take a higher perspective you will come to see that what at first may feel like a challenge to your ego and sense of self, can possibly open up new and possibly better opportunities in the future. This can be all the more so if you are willing to ask for help and advice from those who know. Use the New Moon in Gemini to expand your outlook and understanding of what is or is not possible. And be willing to consider alternative points of view, in order to see the whole picture from everyone’s point of view. Libra takes pride in being able to see both sides of a situation. And doing so from a higher position can be very helpful and informative in solving any challenges or dilemmas you may be facing. Therefore, use the New Moon in Gemini to also become more informed. Maybe learn something new. Go on a journey. Take a trip. Sometimes when we leave the familiar we get to see things in a whole new light. Be willing to debate your own point of view. And know if an idea is sound, it will be able to stand up against even the most rigorous of arguments. A good intention for the New Moon in Gemini might be: May I be led to increase my understanding and knowledge of the world that I am engaged in.

Scorpio

(8th House) You might want to pull back and let go over the weekend. At least until the New Moon in Gemini. The phase preceding the New Moon is a time of withdrawal and reflection. But this will feel all the more so these days. Venus also enters Leo this weekend, where it will eventually make its opposition to Pluto showing you where and how things may be feeling imbalanced in your life. But it will also show you the ways that you can restore that balance by being willing to collaborate perhaps in new and better ways than you had before. The annual New Moon in Gemini is often about renewals, revisions, and possible beginnings and endings. This is the time of year in which you consider breaking things down in order to rebuild them better than before. Whether that involves some sort of physical rebuilding, or psychological reenforcement, or simply replacing old outworn habits with better ones. The New Moon in Gemini wants you to be ready. But in order to do so you have to be willing to partner with others who are on the same page. You are coming to realize what you are needing and expecting from others, and they are doing so as well. Things may not be fully ironed out until after the retrograde phase of Mercury in July but this is where the intentions are being seeded. A good intention for the New Moon in Gemini might be: May I have the confidence and understanding to know what I need, and to ask for what I want.

Sagittarius

(7th House) This week your ruling planet Jupiter is approaching a square aspect with Chiron, which will perfect on July 1st. What makes it more obvious on a personal level this week is that just before Venus enters Leo on Saturday is that it will make its own square to Chiron uncovering old wounds, allowing some doubts to rise to the surface, only to be challenged when Venus then enters Leo. Venus/Chiron can open wounds, but it can also bring you the remedies. And some of these may involve how well you are, or are not, connecting with others. And the New Moon in Gemini can bring just the sort of opportunity to invest the partnerships and alliances you currently have with new energy, while also opening you up to the possibility of making new connections. If that is the case, expect these to further deepen over the weeks ahead. Good things to do with the New Moon in Gemini: Get advice from experts or specialists in their fields; Become a mentor for others; Help others to better appreciate their skills; Perhaps going on an interview; Renewing your vows; or meeting someone new. And in order for these connections to further deepen take your time. Mercury just entered its shadow and will be slowing down for its station on June 29th. Going slowly allows you to more fully immerse yourself in the relationships that are there, and that may be coming in. A good intention with the New Moon in Gemini might be: May I be open to communicating and sharing with others in order to achieve greater clarity and understanding.

Capricorn

(6th House) The New Moon in Gemini often finds Capricorn paying attention to all the daily activities and chores that support you in your endeavors, as well as support your health and well-being. That includes becoming more fully informed, or getting specific advice from mentors, advisors or health professionals. Capricorn likes being informed. Therefore ask questions, read relevant articles, have conversations with your peers and co-workers. The more informed you are, the better able you will be to take charge of the outcomes, and make better choices. The New Moon in Gemini is also a good time to create a better work environment, either by improving the workspace, improving relations with co-workers or learning to do thing more efficiently. New Moons are good for beginning anew, so if there are any initiatives you wanted to take at work, or health regimens you were planning on making, this is a good moon to work with. Just know that this is not something you will want to dash into without testing the waters first. Mercury just entered its shadow, and is going to be slowing down for its retrograde station at the end of June. And as the ruling planet of the Gemini Moon, we are being asked to take things slowly in order to do things well. This is a good Moon to lean more, begin a new health regimen, seek out the best remedies, try out a new recipe, learn a new useful skill, and get to know your co-workers better. A good intention for the New Moon in Gemini might be: May I be open to receiving the best advice and/or healing methods to help me with my current situation.

Aquarius

(5th House) On Saturday Venus enters Leo where it will eventually oppose Pluto in your sign. One of the things it may remind you are of the things that you do or do not have control over. Being able to relinquish control could be a little hard, until you step back and look at the bigger picture, which is trying to show you what ultimately works best for everyone concerned. Further, the New Moon in Gemini is putting the emphasis on all those people and things that make you shine, rather than diminish you. Those people who inspire and excite you, and maybe even make you laugh. The New Moon is about restoring your joy, even though it may feel like it is being denied you. The New Moon in Gemini is also about connecting with those people and things that bring you a unique and special sort of joy. You might even want to consider stepping out of your usual ways of doing things this week. Perhaps try something fun and different. Spend time with children or young people who raise your spirits. Go on a date. But not necessarily the usual. Move, dance, sing and laugh, especially if you never do. Let go of outcomes, and see where this takes you. Then make the intention with the New Moon on Sunday (or Monday) to say: I want any resistance, or obstacles to joy and happiness lifted from me.

Pisces

(4th House) Just before it enters Leo this weekend, Venus will make a square to Chiron in the very, very last degree of Aries. This is a mini precursor of a longer square aspect from your ruling planet Jupiter to Chiron this month. In some way, both of the lucky and beneficial planets are going to make you aware of any lingering wounds that are capable of tying up the 8 year transit of Chiron in Aries. And because both Venus and Jupiter are beneficial they also bring the remedies to do so. Their conjunction last week was seeding the hopes and possibilities of better things to come. Even if it does not seem to be so at first. The New Moon in Gemini is a time each year in which you are asked to direct your attention closer to home. Closer to those people and things that support you and serve as emotional ballast in your life. These are the things that are needing shoring up. And any remedies being turned in your direction only help with this cause. New Moons often point to new beginnings in certain areas of our lives. So by being focused on those things that hold you and support you, that can include things like your home, family, your parents or the community in which you live. It is also asking you to consider how you feel about these things. Are they supporting you? Do you get that much needed feeling of belonging? And although New Moons are usually associated with beginnings, they can also bring closure. A good intention for the New Moon in Gemini might be: I want to better appreciate the patterns and events in my life that have led me to where I am now.
