For this week’s Pluto station, check out your sign as well as the house where 1º Aquarius 22’ falls in your natal chart:
Aries
(11th House) Now that Pluto is in Aquarius, or in your natal 11th House, you are being beckoned to share your unique gifts with the world, and to do so in whichever way feels right for you. This week Pluto stations, ending its retrograde phase. Planets are always stronger and more evident when they station, all the more so with intense and passionate Pluto. And as Pluto makes its station this week you may already notice something of a sea change, as you find yourself called to share your knowledge and experience with others. This is one of those transits that will not only allow you to have some sort of influence on the world at large, but which can also bring you some sort of inner meaning that by enriching your own life, will also enrich the lives of others. This will be all that much more meaningful as both Pluto and Neptune transiting your own sign, are working together in order to show you how you can be best positioned to be a beacon light for others. As Pluto stations this week it is making a Grand Trine which is inspiring many to go high, transcending our current circumstances and limitations, just enough to recognize some of the more profound connections we are capable of making with others.
Taurus
(10th House) Even though at times it could feel overwhelming, in some way, now that Pluto is in Aquarius, you are being asked to take greater control over your own life and destiny. And these days this may even feel fraught and all-consuming. Especially so if you are at odds with others who are not necessarily on the same page. Or even worse, have some sort of control over you. It is almost inevitable to have to confront power, and perhaps those people who wield and abuse power, when Pluto is here. And in order to take control over your own life and destiny, you will need to contend with power in some form or other. This may be your own power. How you use it. What you use it for. Or it can be about the power that others, or in some cases society, has over you. This is when people confront issues like prejudice, bullying, misogyny, sexuality or gender identity, or some other societal glass ceiling that needs to be broken. Or when your own relationship to either privilege or power is being put to the test. Just know that the purer and more inclusive your motives, the broader will be your support for your cause. But ultimately, the transformative power of Pluto is trying to get you to believe in yourself, and what you have to offer to others so that you can literally take hold of the reins of your life, and be in control of your destiny.
Gemini
(9th House) With Mercury in Scorpio, it can sometimes feel as if you are unable, or cautiously unwilling to share what is actually on your mind. This might be wise this week, all the more so as Pluto is stationing on Monday, ending its retrograde phase. Planets are especially strong when they station, and with Pluto now squarely ensconced in Aquarius, it is attempting to position you in a world that constantly seems to be shifting, even more so these days. With Pluto making a strong trine to Uranus in your sign, both planets are attempting to align you with your truest and most authentic self, and those things that would most resonate with what that might look like. One thing that is important to Gemini are communications. The way that words are used, and the effect that they have on others. Which for some could have an even more profound effect in ways that might not even be expected. With Pluto in Aquarius or the natal 9th House, you will find yourself having the remarkable capacity to see the truth about things in such a way that you will never see things quite the same way again. This requires you to be open to seeing things from another perspective, or to welcome in new ideas. Just realize that when you do so, you will need to be prepared to have your mind blown in the process. Pluto never does things lightly.
Cancer
(8th House) This week, Pluto, the Lord of transformation and profound change, stations, ending its retrograde phase. Planets are always more intense when they station, and this is certainly true for Pluto. And in the sign of Aquarius or your natal 8th house it has this capacity to completely transform your psyche as well as your life. Pluto aims to break old cycles, break old self-defeating patterns and limiting habits that are holding you back and preventing you from growing. This area of the chart is one of those transformational houses in which it would not be unusual to even see the end of a way of life, while giving birth to another. The 8th house is where we are compelled to deal with issues surrounding birth and death, sexuality, obsession and compulsions over which we seem to have little control. The key to the 8th house, is to unveil, or uncover that which is hidden beneath. So this can apply to what’s under the covers, hidden within the psyche, buried beneath the earth or simply hidden from view. This is the house of surgery, midwifery, magic, archeology, investigation and psychology. And as a result of what we discover and learn during the many years that Pluto will be here, we can be given the tools to heal, reinvent and rebuild our lives. And to be reborn.
Leo
(7th House) On Monday (or Tuesday, depending on where you are in the world), Pluto will station, ending its retrograde phase. Whenever planets station they dig in that much more deeply, making their presence known in whatever department of the chart it is stationing in. For Leo when in Aquarius, or the natal 7th House, it is making its presence known through others, and through your closest relationships. And if you have done your work well during the previous 5 months of the retrograde phase, you will begin to see the results now manifesting in your outside world. While retrograde Pluto’s focus is within, creating changes in the deep inner levels of the psyche, when it is direct its attention is ready to be focussed without. Its most effective changes are often during the retrograde period where it is addressing those internal changes. Often our inclination is to change the outer circumstances of our lives: fix those other people, change the environment, or shut them all out. But when we do the inner work on ourselves, our relationship with the outer world and with other people is transformed as well. It can sometimes feel with Pluto in Aquarius, that the catalyst to change comes through others, and if that appears to be the case, know that you are ready for the profound life-changing experiences that are possible when Pluto is in Aquarius. But also be prepared to navigate the treacherous waters of Pluto which will force you to face some hard truths and deep feelings in the process, even when you don’t want to, knowing that even these can be an opportunity for transforming not only our relationships, but the very way we do relationships.
Virgo
(6th House) For the years that Pluto had been in Capricorn it was earnestly trying to ignite your passions. And now that it is in Aquarius it is asking you to apply some of that profound passion into what you do. It is not unusual to find yourself working hard when Pluto is in Aquarius or your natal 6th house. But when you have a passion for what you do, it does not feel as much like ‘work’. It’s what you cannot not do. Your work can literally subsume you when Pluto is here. You could also do well to seek out someone who serves as something of a guide or a strong influence in your everyday life. Like a coach, a therapist, or a trainer, someone who is motivational without being over-bearing. Chances are you could even find this sort of guide in the work place, or through some sort of healing modality. There is a very strong mind/body connection when Pluto enters this department of the chart, where the psychological/emotional components intersect with the physical. Even the everyday things we do to maintain our health and well-being can feel like all-consuming hard work when Pluto is here. As often is the case with Pluto, there are bound to be things over which you have no control. And there will be other things that you can become overly focused on to the point of distraction and even obsession. Finding a healthy balance between that which you are passionate about vs. obsession are always key when Lord Pluto insinuates himself into our daily lives and routines.
Libra
(5th House) Now that Pluto stations this week, ending its retrograde phase, and trine your ruling planet Venus, the cosmos are here to remind you of what your soul’s deepest passions and yearnings are. The planets do so by conspiring to align you with the medium through which you can best express yourself. With Pluto now in Aquarius or your natal 5th house, this is about what your heart and soul is yearning to say when it is allowed to speak through you. That deep yearning can also be found through a deeply compelling and loving relationship. The sort of relationship that consumes your waking moments and fills you with a burning passion. Perhaps even bordering on obsession. These are the sorts of feelings about which great poems are written, and breath taking moments fill your days. Let them in. In some way your passions, and your heart, are being asked to be reignited. And they do this in order to give birth to something from within you, whether that be an actual birth, or giving birth to yourself. Go where you are drawn. It is lighting a match to your heart. Pursue that much loved hobby, brush off the instrument gathering dust on the shelf, go where your heart is leading you. And do so at the risk of igniting all the other feelings that lay buried deep in your soul that also need to be laid out on the altar of your heart. Jealousy, obsession, or even fear can arise with Pluto. Welcome them all. Sometimes we have to move through these darker passions too in order to find those rarer and more beautiful gifts that have been patiently waiting in the wings.
Scorpio
(4th House) Now that Pluto is in Aquarius it is asking you to put down that sack of emotional debris that you’ve been carrying with you all these years. During the retrograde period over the past 5 months, you were being asked to confront all those things that have undermined your own confidence in yourself: all those inner dialogues, the should haves, the emotional abuse that you’ve allowed to play on a loop in your own head. This is also when you come to realize where the original script is coming from. Things are coming to light from earlier on in your life, or perhaps that had been impressed on you through the family or the culture. Pluto is giving you permission to unload it all. Even if that finds you lying recumbent on the therapist’s couch. As a result all that stuff that you’ve been carrying around with you like an albatross around your neck, like a burden to bear just because it was handed down by the ancestors like some sort of a legacy, know that it doesn’t have to go any further than this. It’s well nigh time to re-write the narrative. Whatever dirt has been coming to the surface over the past 5 months, whatever the narratives, whatever the lines that you had previously learned by heart, it’s time for you to re-write the script.
Sagittarius
(3rd House) Now that Pluto is in Aquarius you are being asked to cultivate, hone and take advantage of the profound ability to cut through all the lies, misinformation and innuendo, in order to see the truth in all of its magnificent glory. With magnifying glass in hand, you are ready to get to the bottom of things. As Pluto stations, ending its retrograde phase it allows certain truths to rise to the surface. This can be illuminating, and could even have the capacity to transform your whole perspective. During the 5 months of its retrograde phase. some of those most illuminating realizations were not found outside, but within your own heart and mind. And as a result, you are not quite able to see things the same way again. It’s as if you see more, notice more, and see the underlying meaning of things, in even the most simple and everyday experiences. Pluto here can indeed help you to discover why the neighbors do what they do. But it can also incline you to want to solve the great mysteries of all time. This is not a time for euphemisms, or a superficial glossing over of things, this is about getting down to the very essence. It’s about deep conversations, and daring to talk about subjects that make others shudder. You will come to see that no stone is left unturned when Pluto is in Aquarius and/or in your 3rd house, and nothing is hidden for long.
Capricorn
(2nd House) Now that Pluto is in the sign of Aquarius, it is trying to show you something about your own self-worth. It is doubling down on prioritizing your needs and priorities, and trying to do so within the scope of your own self-worth and how well you value yourself and what you have to offer. It has this amazing capacity while here to transform your whole relationship with things like wealth, power, money and even self-esteem. And this will be even more so when Pluto makes its stations as it is this coming week. When we think of self-worth we often think in terms of our earning power. But it can also point to things like character and the sorts of skills that make you a contender capable of surviving in a competitive world. Strong values. Self-integrity. And creating things that have long-term sustainability and intrinsic value. Whatever talents and skills you have been honing up over the past 5 months Pluto is wanting you to realize the potential of what you have to offer others. There is something incredibly transformative about Pluto’s transits. And not only can Pluto transform the ways that you value yourself and your own self-worth, but can also help you to evolve and grow in ways that you might not have even imagined.
Aquarius
(1st House) When Pluto stationed retrograde last May, it did so with a few conditions. It may have even felt like a piece of your life were coming undone. But often what feels like destruction with the planet Pluto can also be the catalyst for something even better to come into your life. Cynthia Occelli tells us that in order for seeds to reach their fullest potential, it needs to become undone. The shell cracks, and its insides fall out. Along with all that stuff can be things that you had been trying to ignore in hopes that it would just go away. It doesn’t. But what can happen is that it can be transformed. And that is what the retrograde phase of Pluto is for. To fix all the stuff we’ve been trying to ignore. For it is that stuff, the shames, the fears, the wounds of the past, the things that haunt you, that are preventing you from taking control over your own life and destiny. And now that Pluto is ending its retrograde station, it does so with the promise of ever better things to come. Although Pluto stations can feel like they are heralding the end of an era in our lives, it can also create the conditions to be reborn out of the ashes of the life that was. And know that when Pluto travels in your sign as it now is, that it brings the opportunity to discover your own truth. And it is within the framework of that truth, no matter how stark that might be, no matter how painful, that you are then given the tools and the capacity to reinvent your life all over again. Working with Pluto is hard work, for it does nothing less than force you to face yourself. But by working through all this you also discover what it means to be empowered in such a way to fully take hold of the reins of your life.
Pisces
(12th House) There is something of an internal, evolutionary growth process that is occurring now that Pluto is in Aquarius or in your natal 12th house. Pluto is literally changing you from the inside out. The work that is does on these inner subliminal planes has the capacity to completely change your world. And this will feel all the more so when Pluto stations as it will this week, ending its retrograde phase. This can begin with an inner realization. A disclosure. Something that had been hidden from view, but is now being revealed and can totally change your awareness about things. Perhaps these are things that were there all along, gnawing at your psyche. But due to the experiences of the previous 5 months they could no longer be ignored. And now that Pluto stations direct, there is that moment of clarity like a light bulb switching on that dares you to see things as they are, and understand. This is Pluto’s work on the unseen planes of your mind. And even if you try to resist it, Pluto is not to be ignored. And once the flood gates are opened, you will see all sorts of memories, thoughts, rising to the surface from out of your subconscious or from the past. Although this can feel disconcerting, it can also be remarkably illuminating. Know that his is an opportunity to arrive at a whole other level of healing and wholeness. But in order to get these, Pluto demands acceptance, understanding and forgiveness. For that is when the true transformation begins.
