Horoscopes: October 3rd thru the 10th

October 2, 2025 Lauren Coleman

“The Harvest Moon” by Samuel Palmer

For the Full Moon in Aries for your sign (or natal House where 14º of Aries falls in your chart):

Aries

(1st House) It is hard to ignore a Full Moon when it falls in your sign, and this would be especially so with a Super Moon (which occurs when the Moon is also close to the earth in its orbit). Those people whose birthdays fall in the first week of April or who have 11-17º of Aries Rising will be more sensitive to this week’s Full Moon which peaks Monday night. However, all Aries kind will be aware of the emotional intensity and release that can come with a Full Moon. Full Moons bring things to the surface: our feelings, our memories, the truth of a situation. These are times of culmination, endings and fruition When in the signs of Aries and Libra we often find ourselves confronted with others as well as ourselves and our own feelings. The Full Moon in Aries has that warrior edge, so be prepared to defend your territory, and restore any and all boundaries that had become eroded. Usually there is a lot of energy and activity around this Moon where things can happen quickly and perhaps even unexpectedly. However, this particular Moon could be riddled with delays, resistance and elements of frustration, especially if you feel that things are not moving fast enough. So don’t be surprised if out of frustration you find yourself pushing against any limits, just wanting to get all the loose ends tied up once and for all, in order to reclaim your space, as well as your peace of mind.

Taurus

(12th House) It is not unusual for Full Moons to bring some sort of ending or release in which you see certain alliances or connections coming to some sort of ending. This will be especially so if you find yourself having difficulty adapting to new circumstances. Old habits die hard. And letting go of what you are accustomed to can bring all sorts of feelings to the surface. And for Taurus, the Full Moon in Aries can bring all sorts of stuff tot he surface that you didn’t even know were there. Full Moons have this way of bringing things to some sort of crescendo or culmination. And anything that you have been resisting will no longer be possible with this Full Moon that reveals secrets, and unveils the past. Can also bring a tremendous amount of restlessness. Whether it’s a series of sleepless nights leading up to the Full Moon on Monday, or this feeling of agitation that you can’t really put a finger on, you might want to work it out by working it out. Go to the gym. Take a long walk. Get a deep tissue massage. Sweat it out in a sauna. Approached purposefully in this way there can be something deeply satisfying and purifying about the Full Moon in Aries that can free up any pent of angst, and release any frustrations that had been accumulating.

Gemini

(11th House) There is no stone left unturned, and no subject considered taboo when Mercury enters Scorpio. This is what happens when you are on a quest for truth. And that’s true even if you have no idea what creatures may be unearthed when you turn over those stones. However this could be a valuable tool for digging up the truth, and getting to the bottom of a situation. Just be aware that all of this could be further exaggerated by the Full Moon on Monday. So don’t be too surprised if you find yourself obsessed with an idea, or at loggerheads with others who don’t necessarily share the same point of view. And also know that no matter what you say, you will be hard pressed to win people over to your way of thinking. And that’s true no matter what information you have to back up your assertion. Full Moons have this way of bringing things to a head. So be prepared as we approach that Supermoon on Monday. People can tend to be on edge when the Moon is Full and in Aries, and the last thing you need is to be drawn into an unwinnable contest of persuasion with someone hell bent on changing your mind. Best to sit this one out instead.

Cancer

(10th House) There is a Super Full Moon in Aries on Monday. The Harvest Moon will rise in its glory Monday evening and then set in the early morning hours on Tuesday. The Aries Full Moon can bring the culmination of all of your efforts that you have been focused on since the Aries Solar Eclipse on March 29th. One thing about these Aries Moons is that they do give Cancer an extra boost of confidence which helps you to face even the most daunting of challenges. Many a Cancer will be tempted to redefine their futures over the coming year, and the Full Moon could shine a light on the possibilities unfolding. Those Cancers born between July 3rd and the 10th, or who have 11-17º of Cancer Rising, will especially feel the strength of the Aries Full Moon which can bring things to a head in both your personal as well as your public life. But in order to do so, you may be asking yourself what you are needing to release, rearrange or let go of in order to be able to put more emphasis on your long range goals and hopes for the future?

Leo

(9th House) In the light of the Full Moon in Aries, it could become evident that certain changes are well nigh due. It’s not necessary to do a complete overhaul. But you might want to consider what needs adjusting in order to clear the way for any new starts that might be pending over the months ahead. Full Moons bring things out into the open, and this one could even make you feel as if you need to defend yourself and your point of view, as hidden contentions are revealed. Fiery and perhaps argumentative, this Full Moon is a culmination of all sorts of feelings coming to the surface. Because of all of the activity that the Aries Moon can bring, you may feel as if you are being rushed to tie up any loose ends that have been lying around. Do make those important calls; file that paperwork; complete the to-do list. Just remember that the faster you go, the more behinder you get. Same with judgment calls. Avoid jumping in and making snap decisions that you might later regret. The Aries Moon is in stark contrast to the Libra Sun, which feels the necessity to defend itself in the name of fairness and balance.

Virgo

(8th House) People are creatures of habit. And occasionally it becomes necessary to let go of certain habits and ways of doing things that are no longer relevant for who you are now. And that can include habitual ways of thinking. Including who you even think you are, which might surprise you a bit with the upcoming Full Moon. Full Moons often give us the opportunity to let go of old patterns, release old tendencies, which then allows you to redefine how you wish to be seen in the world. On Monday, your ruling planet Mercury enters the sign of Scorpio. You will find that when Mercury is in this sign that it is very good at sorting through problems, doing the research and coming up with solutions. Full Moons can also bring things out into the open, so that things that were previously hidden or overlooked can no longer be ignored. This can also leave you feeling a little vulnerable and exposed, especially if it your own secrets that are being revealed. But it can also bring you the courage to finally bare your soul and just ask for what you need. Mercury in Scorpio can be determined, and persistent, and maybe even a little unforgiving. Throw in the Full Moon in Aries and there will be no beating around the bush here. You know what you want, and the Full Moon gives you the courage to claim it. You might want to ask yourself in the light of this passionate and fiery Full Moon, what ignites your passions almost to the point of obsession?

Libra

(7th House) What are you needing to release and let go of in order to heal, and move on with your life once and for all? This isn’t necessarily easy. We get attached to what once was. It had becn a part of you. But then there comes a time in everyone’s life in which we simply need to move on. That’s kind of the way things look this week as your ruling planet Venus lays its heart on the altar of the South Node in Virgo. As a result don’t be surprised if all sorts of feelings come to the surface and spill out at the most unexpected times. This is not unusual for you when the Full Moon is in Aries as it will be Monday night. Libra season is usually a time of renewal and beginnings for you as this is when the Sun returns to the place it was when you were born. However, for those Librans born on or around the Full Moon on October 6th, you may find that in order for the new beginning or renewal to occur, something must first be brought to some sort of conclusion. You are being shown the results of certain causes previously set in motion. If you are happy about what you see, what more can you do to keep yourself moving on the same track? And if not, what adjustments might you want to make going forward?

Scorpio

(6th House) Full Moons have the capacity to bring certain conflicts out into the open. Issues, resentments, inner conflicts as well as outer conflicts can no longer be ignored. They can even force you to take batter care of yourself. Or perhaps an issue that arose around the Solar Eclipse on March 29th, is now coming to fruition, as you see the full consequences of changes that occurred at that time. Pay attention to what the Full Moon is shining a light on in your life right now. That may be something you are needing to deal with, either in your work, in your daily routines, or pertaining to your health. In fact all those things that support your well-being are needing to be reevaluated with this Supermoon in Aries. Full Moons can also be notorious for disrupting our sleep as well as our peace of mind. And this one will be especially so. If you had taken on too much, the Full Moon could force you to slow down, even as you are wanting to do more. Just know that any delays or setbacks could in fact prove to be fortuitous. See what you can put down, in order to focus more fully on the most immediate concerns that are right there in front of you.

Sagittarius

(5th House) The Super Full Moon in Aries could prove to be both illuminating and intense. But it could also be a fun moon for Sagittarius. This is when you see the results for certain initiatives made earlier in the year. Don’t be surprised if you find congregating with loved ones this weekend. Dare to share some of your off-color jokes and/or bask in the light of your own good will. In Libra season we are asked sow gratitude for all that we have achieved in the previous year, and the Harvest Moon on Friday is your opportunity to pay special attention to those achievements that you are most proud of. It’s okay to brag under the light of the Full Moon on Monday. It’s also okay to kick up your heels and show off in other ways. Super Moons appear to be a wee bit larger than usual, and as a result can be even a wee bit more revealing, as this one asks you to stand proudly in the spot light. Therefore pay attention to what the Full Moon is shining its light on this week. It’s trying to show you something special and unique about yourself.  And to be willing to own it.

Capricorn

(4th House) The Full Moon in Aries can be fiery, active and even tempestuous. It can also be riddled with old resentments that had been simmering on the back burner of your life, but are now getting ready to boil over. Those Capricorns born around January 2nd thru the 8th, or who have 11-17º of Capricorn Rising are most likely to feel the full force of the Full Moon, but all Capricorns cold be feeling the Full Moon vibe this weekend as we approach its culmination Monday night. This Moon could illuminate any conflicts existing between your personal life and your outer responsibilities and obligations. For those who have been thinking about making any changes at home, perhaps even moving, renovating or upgrading, this Moon could bring everything to a head or to some sort of final conclusion. Thinking of creating a new work space at home? Needing to establish greater balance between your personal needs and your work life? Reassessing where you are living? Trust your feelings. They are particularly strong when the Moon is Full and in the sign of Aries. And you will want to hear everything that your feelings are telling you.

Aquarius

(3rd House) It is not unusual to see the activity of our lives get sped up around the Full Moons. Perhaps that is all the more so with the Super Moon in Aries on Monday. For Aquarius this could have a particularly unexpected edge about it: lots of commotion, lots of running around, navigating all sorts of ideas, conversations and messages. It could bring a little mental overload as a consequence. Not unusual to have a wakeful night or two leading up to the Aries Moon. It’s as if all sorts of noise is taking place in your own mind. This would be even more so if you find yourself attempting to find some middle ground between what you believe to be true, and the perspectives and beliefs of others which seem to be at cross purposes. Full Moons can often bring things to a head. And may even bring you the final result of any hidden tensions between yourself and others. Explaining your point of view, even if uncomfortable at first, can afford you the opportunity to air your grievances, and then be able to move on, putting down any baggage that you had been reluctantly holding on to. The Full Moon can also show you some of the consequences or rewards of any shifts or changes that occurred earlier in the year with the Solar Eclipse at the end of March. Make this a final chapter.

Pisces

(2nd House) Full Moons are often times of culmination, in which we can receive the rewards or consequences of previous efforts and decisions made. For Pisces, the Full Moon in Aries could have something to do with any business or financial decisions made earlier in the year. This can result in some sort of reward or recognition, or conversely having to pay the bills. Over the past 18 months you were perhaps wanting to be more financially independent, or were compelled to be so as outside sources of support became less reliable. Trust what your heart and intuition is telling you. But also trust your gut. Saturn only recently returned to your sign for some unfinished business. Which in this case could be about needing to rely on yourself, your own sense of integrity, and your own personal resources. This in turn can help to develop greater self-esteem and self-worth in the long run. But even the surprising ability to take care of business, even when the other guy fails to show up as previously planned. You’ve got this.
