Horoscopes: September 18th thru the 25th

September 17, 2026 Lauren Coleman

For the week of September 18th thru the 25th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:

Aries

You can still take advantage of some of that vital energy from the recent Sun/Mars sextile. But don’t push yourself too hard, or you will regret it later. Do things that energize you, but avoid depleting your batteries this week. As your ruling planet navigates the last degrees of Cancer the impulse will be to keep pushing, even as you are functioning on your last fumes. Listen to your body. Now that Chiron has returned to Aries it is a good reminder to focus on self-care, and listening to what your body needs. Ignoring those signals will only exhaust you. This is the sort of weather in which we think we can do a lot more than we actually can. Saturn also transiting your sign can be something of a task master. Also on the Saturn in Aries front, you may be feeling like there are some hard decisions to be made. You might want to ask yourself, what might a grown up do in this situation? Saturn wants you to be reality centered. Not so much that you find yourself overwhelmed. Gather the facts. Ask the right questions. Look at the data and the information. Then take the helm. Don’t get caught up in the glory. This is not about showing off. Look for a plan that is practical and feasible. One that you know you can live with and is in your best interests.

Taurus

With Venus crawling through Scorpio this month you’re still navigating the complicated urges, fears and desperation of the recent Venus/Pluto square. Because Venus is moving so slowly, she’ll be tangled up with Pluto for the rest of the week. Cravings, desires and a sense of urgency can lead us all astray, as we fear betrayals and obsess about outcomes. It’s not easy weather for a Taurus who only wants to put their feet up and eat crumpets. All of this. All the stuff that Venus is bringing to the surface, is really just trying to even the playing field by showing you what your true priorities are, and how you might want to further invest in these as well as yourself. There can be a busyness in Virgo season, that can sometimes leave us all tied up in knots. As we enter Libra season you might want to pay more attention to your own health and well-being. One way to do this is through achieving greater balance and moderation in your everyday life. This means neither doing too much or too little. Follow periods of activity with much needed rest, while also paying attention to your emotional and psychological well-being. This is a liminal time of year in which the focus shifts, preparing us for the next season and all that is being required of you.

Gemini

As we enter the weekend you may be feeling a little cut off from others. Perhaps not connecting. Not being heard or acknowledged. Rather than pushing yourself, use the time to focus on a specific topic, idea or project. This is good weather for organizing, and gathering information, reviewing and editing, but not necessarily acting on it yet. Just wait a day or two, before the ideas and the information begins to come together and flow. Out of this narrow focus, a bigger vision can then emerge. Also note, that things are not quite as difficult as they may seem. Do; Trust the process. Focus. Organize. Gather facts and information. Don’t: Ruminate. Avoid what needs tending to. Fear. Regret. We enter Libra season on Tuesday. Greet it with love, gratitude and hope for the future, putting all regrets aside. Know that any and all positive energy sent out at this time will help to ameliorate any negative thoughts or energy. And this is true not only in your personal life. For when we all sow gratitude together, we also benefit the world at large.

Cancer

Libra season, which begins with the Equinox on Tuesday, puts the emphasis back on the areas of your life that often matter the most to Cancer: Home.  Gathering Family of the people who feel like Family. Gathering your community and support systems. Going within. This will seem all that much more important as it could feel like the outer world is just so hard and baffling at the same time. The Equinox is actually a time and opportunity to sow peace and gratitude. So even when and if, or especially when the world seems so harsh, put that all aside in order to create a gratitude list. It may seem tedious at first. But as you dive in, you’ll be surprised at how long this list can become. We are entering a time of reflection. Therefore reflect on all the good things that you have or are receiving. Include the small things that make your life most meaningful. The laughter of children. The smell of bread baking. The change in the weather and the season. Any and all positive heart-felt energy sent out at this time will help to ameliorate any discordant or negative energy, both in your personal life, and in the world at large. This is what happens when humanity acts like a community.

Leo

In some way you are being asked to go on faith, not knowing the outcomes, or what the future will bring. No matter how dismal things may seem as we enter the weekend, by the time we reach the Equinox on Tuesday, the world will seem all that much more positive and promising. Be prepared for a big vision to emerge. Jupiter in your sign is asking you to think positively, but not naively. There is a whole world out there just waiting to be explored. Do be optimistic. Do be enthusiastic (we love that about you). Laugh, cry and embrace all that is you. Wear your emotions on your sleeve. In order to make the most of this Jupiter transit in your sign, just remember to keep one foot on the ground  in order to keep yourself from getting distracted from your true path, and your true self. This journey is not about trying to be something other than who you are, or what you want others to believe about you. It’s about you being your true self with confidence and verve. In the mean time, reserve some of your energy. You will be glad that you did when Mars finally enters your sign at the end of the month. You’re going to need it!

Virgo

As Virgo season comes to a close this week, the later degree Virgos might be celebrating, even if it is a bit toned down, okay, maybe a little dreary on Friday, what with your ruling planet Mercury opposite Mercury. Give it a few days. Before you know it the sky’s going to open up and the birds will sing again. Avoid: Regrets. Ruminating. The Gloom. Doubting. Use the weekend to: Organize. Edit. Create a much needed spreadsheet. Clear out the closets and the cobwebs. Take that seriousness in order to gather facts and information. Then remind yourself that positive approaches bring positive results. Perhaps even more than you bargain for. Keep things in perspective and there’s no telling where this will all take you in the end. By the time we reach the Equinox on Tuesday the rhyme and reason of all this will make itself known, and perhaps even a plan can finally unfold out of the chaos of what once was.  The Equinox and Libra is a time of year in which we are asked to sow peace and gratitude for all that we have achieved and received over the previous year. Use the Equinox to create a gratitude list. Write it out and save it. You’ll be surprised at how long this list can become. And any and all positive energy launched with the Equinox helps to ameliorate any discordant energy, either in your personal life, or in the world at large.

Libra

With Venus literally crawling through Scorpio this month, there will be no avoiding the angst that the recent Venus/Pluto square was rending on our psyches. We’re not going to be able to emerge from that cloud of desires, obsessions, and desperation for some days yet. But also realize that there is a rhyme and reason for all of this emotional depth and craving. Can even complicate financial agreements as well as relationships as fear, jealousy and longings come to the surface, distracting, and leading us astray. But ultimately this is about coming to terms with what and who your true priorities are. And that should include things like prioritizing and investing in yourself. In the mean time, we enter Libra season at the Equinox on Tuesday, bringing all Libra-kind to the foreground. This is your season to shine. So put down some of that angst you’ve been harboring, and look for opportunities to create greater balance, fairness and joy in your life. This can begin with balancing your needs with the needs of others. In the end it is about healing, forgiveness, and gratitude for all the good that you have received over the previous year. Know that any and all positive energy sent out at this time will help to ameliorate any discordant energy, both in your personal life, and in the world at large.

Scorpio

Venus is moving at a snail’s pace in your sign. And as a result she’s stirring up all sorts of angst in the process. Events, feelings, fears, that would normally have been resolved or moved on at this point continue to linger, setting the tone for the upcoming retrograde phase of Venus in October. This compels all of us to reassess relationships, our priorities, our financial agreements and self-worth as a result. But hopefully with some good results in the end. But not without some serious reflection about what those priorities are. This week we also enter Libra season with the Equinox on Tuesday, which also tends to be a reflective time of year for Scorpio. With the seasonal change also comes a desire to withdraw, and reflect on the year that was. And it is probably likely that much of the year was riven with uncertainties and what if’s. But if you were to step back, and pay attention to what will be revealed over the next few weeks as we approach the Full Moon at the end of the month, you may just discover that there are solutions, even in the face of what feel like uncertainty. As long as you keep one foot firmly planted on the ground and have faith that any choices you make are being done in good faith, then all should go well.

Sagittarius

As we approach the Equinox this week, we could also be facing a sense of uncertainty about what the next quarter of the year will bring. Jupiter in Leo is enthusiastic and hopeful. And that remains so even in the face of any uncertainty or doubts. There is a bit of caution about not allowing your enthusiasm to go to your head, or lead you astray. But so long as you manage to remain level-headed, and keep one foot firmly planted on the ground then all should be well. Just ask yourself first: Is this a choice that will lead me away from the truth, or towards it? Am I seeing the actual truth about the way things are, or am I seeing what I want to see? In some way you are being asked to trust your inner wisdom, even in the face of an uncertain future. By trusting your inner wisdom, following your conscience, and your highest principles you are not likely to lose your way. It just requires a little faith in your self, and that inner knowing.

Capricorn

As we begin the weekend you may find yourself earnestly trying to gather the facts, create lists, take care of any paperwork, and focus on getting certain tasks accomplished. Not doing so, will just leave you wishing you had. Doing all that busy work is a good way to use the current weather. It will also arm you with much needed facts in order to wend yourself through the week, and perhaps even come up with a good plan for the future. This will be especially helpful as we make our way into Libra season with the upcoming Equinox on Tuesday. For this is often a time when Capricorn, standing in the balance between the light and the darkness, allows you to see your future with greater equanimity. The Equinox is also a time to reflect on the year that was, in order to appreciate the fruits of your efforts. It is also an excellent time to sow peace and gratitude. Make a gratitude list. Maybe even write it out somewhere and save it. Any and all positive energy sent out at this time of year helps to ameliorate any discordant energy, both in your personal life, as well as in the world at large.

Aquarius

Communications could feel fraught as we enter the weekend. It may be that you aren’t hearing from the very people you had hoped to. Do not make assumptions. Many will be lost in their own heads as Mercury opposes Saturn, making us all tongue-tied, regretting what was previously said, and feeling unheard or misunderstood. Rather than focusing on the should have or could haves, focus on what is right in front of you. Use the same focus to take care of any paperwork, organize your schedule and take care of business. The following days will bring greater clarity, and hopefully some resolution. This can be made more complex by Venus moving at a snail’s pace in Scorpio muddying the waters even further. Release the things that you don’t have any control over, and focus on the things that you can do, and what you most need to make a priority right now. Ultimately, as Venus eventually enters her retrograde phase next month we will all be reassessing our priorities and those things we most want to invest in. Things should begin to lighten up by the time we reach the Equinox on Tuesday which serves a purpose for a different sort of reflection. This is when we are asked to reflect on the year that was, and all that we have learned, gained and achieved. Then take advantage of the Equinox to sow peace and gratitude out into the world. Any and all positive energy sent out at this time will help to ameliorate any discordant energy, both in our personal lives as well as in the world at large.

Pisces

Because Neptune is retrograde and in the very early degrees of Aries, when the Sun enters Libra on the day of the Equinox it comes face to face with your ruling planet. As we will as the Sun crosses each of the 4 critical corners of the Solar Year. Neptune can sow uncertainty and doubt, which can mar the dreams and hopes for the future that Jupiter is trying to instill in the sign of Leo. Jupiter in Leo is both hopeful and enthusiastic. But with Neptune in the wings there is just a bit of a reminder to not get too carried away. As long as we keep one foot firmly on the ground, and we remain totally invested in the Good and the True, there is little harm that can come from such enthusiasm. Trust your inner wisdom. And know that if you allow that wisdom, your conscience, and your highest principles to guide you, you will not lose your way. It requires a certain amount of faith in yourself, even in times of uncertainty. But it’s just that sort of faith, that is needed right now.
