Horoscopes: July 31st thru August 7th

July 30, 2026 Lauren Coleman

For the week of July 31st thru August 7th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:

Aries

It can often feel like you are needing to take a few steps back before you can proceed, when Saturn stations retrograde. All the more so when it is in your sign as it now is. But by the end of this coming week, you could feel like you have enough information with which to proceed. Just know that commitments made now, even those that are well thought out, could prove to be a little more involved than previously thought. But if anyone has it in them to succeed, it’s Aries. Do not let this dissuade you. You are in it for the long term. In the mean time, Chiron, our wounded healer, makes its retrograde station. Because of this, Chiron, which is currently in Taurus, will make a brief return to your sign for some unfinished business as early as September. Those 7 months that it returns to Aries, from mid-September to mid-April are essential for making sure that you are well situated on your healing journey. During the retrograde phase which lasts from now until January, you are initially being asked to think in terms of more fully valuing what you have to offer, including your own unique gifts and talents. And also what your own expectations are of yourself, and how much you are willing to take care of and invest in yourself. It begins with one simple phrase. “I am worth this." And that includes having to take certain risks in order to do this come September when it re-enters Aries. Remind yourself at that point once again, “I am worth investing in.”

Taurus

On Monday, Chiron will make its retrograde station in the very first degree of Taurus. It has barely entered your sign, and now as it appears to make this retrograde reversal, it will return to Aries in September to tie up a few loose ends. But as it stations this week there could be some subtle, and perhaps some not so subtle, reminders of the necessity to focus on your own healing journey. You may have been ignoring some of the inconveniences and discomforts that afflict most of humankind. Taurus just keeps going. Even if it means ignoring the signals your body is sending you. Until you simply can’t ignore them any longer. Pay attention to the messages you are receiving with this Chiron station. It is not weakness but wisdom to follow through with signs and symptoms that are rising to the surface. Whether these are physical, emotional or psychological symptoms, pay attention. Never will you be better able to get to the bottom of a situation as you can during the retrograde phase of Chiron. Chiron can also bring whatever remedies are needed. But most of all, what it provides is the opportunity to gain wisdom about yourself, and your own healing journey. Take a page out of your ruling planet, Venus’s book, as she enters Libra at the end of next week. Libra is a sign that supports your well-being. And it does so through balance, through moderation, and by instilling ease and trust in those who truly have your best interests at heart.

Gemini

Something is shifting here. Something that could change your priorities. It feels both freeing and tense at the same time. Life can be complicated that way. And surprising. But what this shift can also do, is undo that feeling of being stuck. Sometimes things need to get a little shook up in order to get unstuck. Another thing it is showing you is that there are options. And now that Mercury will be leaving its shadow, and moving entirely away from retrograde mode, the data that was being imprinted during its retrograde is beginning to take hold and perhaps even take root. You’ve been getting a stark dose of reality. And now you have the tools to formulate a plan. Meanwhile on Monday, Chiron makes its retrograde station bringing some other home truths to bear. One thing that could become evident is that the only things that can undermine you are those things that you keep hidden away, for fear that they will be found out. That includes those secrets that you can not or will not share. However, know also that there is tremendous healing that can arise when you are able to share your wounds, your dark thoughts, your fears and anxieties with others. You cannot change the past. But you can change the outcomes. And when you do share your story, you are also capable of becoming a beacon of light and inspiration for others. Forgiveness, Understanding and Compassion are all key when working with Chiron. And this is especially so when applied to yourself.

Cancer

Sudden and unexpected news may arise from the past early on this week. When you become aware of things in this way, it can change the whole tone. It shakes things up, and makes you aware that those things that you might have been avoiding, can no longer be ignored. We’ve all been getting a bit of a reality check in the mean time. One thing that affords you is the ability to have greater clarity about the choices you are wanting to make in the future. And you are needing all the help you can get in that department. Meanwhile on Monday, Chiron our wounded healer is making its retrograde station this week. For the 5 months that Chiron is in its retrograde phases it can sometimes increase stress. And this can be true even when Chiron is benefitting you by sign and placement as it currently is from the sign of Taurus. One of the things that you may become more aware of over the next few months are the ways that you may have been compromising your choices just for the sake of fitting in. However, one thing you may realize is that even when you conform to the standards and expectations of others, it may go unappreciated. Chiron’s station this week is giving you permission to reclaim your own true path and to be your own true self, even in a world that is constantly trying to get you to conform to other’s expectations.

Leo

Through the veil of the recent Full Moon you were being freed up in some significant way. And what can arise out of that is Hope. Hope for a better tomorrow. Even in the face of what may seem extraordinary challenges. It enlivens you, and dares you to have greater confidence in your abilities going forward. Yes, you may have been given something of a reality check. But rather than allowing it to block you, use whatever knowledge you have to inform your decisions going forward. And this is especially true in light of Chiron’s retrograde station on Monday. Ask yourself: What old dialogues are being brought to the surface and needing to be silenced? What doubts are causing you to feel self-conscious and question your own knowledge and abilities? Know that all of your choices and experiences have brought you to this place in time. It is not one thing, one degree, one accomplishment, one position. It is everything, including the failures and regrettable choices. For those are the things that make you relatable. And human. By the time that Chiron stations direct in January it will be hoped that the lessons of Chiron will bring you to a place of acceptance for who you are and what you have accomplished. And doing so without having to worry about the judgment of others, or yourself getting in the way.

Virgo

People will often turn to Virgo for their expertise and knowledge. And that can include your expertise on those things that support one’s health and well-being. Or the ability to suss your way through a complicated puzzle. You have a facility to see solutions where others just see chaos. And now that Chiron, our wounded healer, is in Taurus, it can help to clarify how useful your knowledge is. You are gradually going to be receiving attention for certain skills over the next several years. But one thing that will make you most relatable, are not just your knowledge, but the fact that you have lived, and that you are not perfect. If you see your imperfections as something to be ashamed of, then you do yourself, and others, a disservice. As Chiron stations retrograde on Monday, what you will be coming to appreciate over the next 5 months, is the human condition for what it is, which at best is imperfect. We are all stumbling along together on this same human journey that we call life. And sometimes we will be tripping over things and limping along that path. Over the next several years you are being honed to be a guide to others. And as Chiron stations retrograde in Taurus this week, you are being asked to consider this role of the pathfinder. A role that entails skillfully creating a roadmap capable of guiding the ships around the treacherous shoals that are part of this human journey.

Libra

By the end of next week, it will begin to feel as if you can proceed with plans. We’ve all been receiving something of a reality check, which can also help you to make better decisions moving forward. It helps to have all the facts. New starts are imminent now that your ruling planet Venus will be entering Libra at the end of next week and Mercury is coming out of its shadow. And that’s true even if you may need to revise some of these plans later on in October. For now you are tying up some loose strings in order to clear the way for you to take that next step into the rest of your life. In the mean time, our Wounded Healer, Chiron, is making its retrograde station on Monday. As a result, don’t be surprised to have some old wounds being brought to the surface. There can be no pretense when our skeletons are out there dancing in the streets. Chiron not only reveals our most humbling wounds when it stations, but it can also bring us the very tools and solutions that are needed to heal them. Also know that when you are able to bare your soul, and share your wounds with others, you are also capable of making deeper and more meaningful connections with others who share those wounds. And together you are then able to guide each other through the labyrinths of shame, denial and fear that we are all compelled to face at some point in our lives. Go out and dance with your skeletons. Chiron is here to remind you that you are not alone, and that we are all here stumbling together through this human experience we call life.

Scorpio

For the years that Chiron will be in Taurus, you will find that people will be gravitating to you for guidance and advice. If this is what you do for a living, or as a service, it will be all that much more compelling. However, Chiron moving into this department of your chart may also require you to give more direct care to someone who is close to you. And as Chiron stations this coming week it will be making you all too aware of what you can, or can not do, for others. This could even feel overwhelming. Like so much is at stake. And as Chiron then heads back to the sign Aries in September you may find yourself anxious to review and readdress your skill sets in order to be ready for what awaits. One thing that you may become aware of, is that you may not be able to fix others, and you may not be able to make them better. But what you can do is accept people for who they are and where they are right here, right now. And as Chiron stations on Monday, it is also a reminder to also make yourself a priority. This is not selfish. For unless you take care of your own needs and your own wellbeing, you are not going to be of much use to anyone else. Self-care allows you to be a better custodian, caretaker, companion and advisor to others, as well as an example for others to follow.

Sagittarius

For the past week your ruling planet, Jupiter, now in Leo is trying to instill confidence and hope in the future. And that is true even in the face of some extraordinary challenges that you may be facing. Meanwhile on Monday, Chiron, our Wounded Healer, is making its retrograde station. As it does so it can raise the bar when it comes to self-care and those things that support your health and well-being. As it stations retrograde it may cause you to step back and reassess your current daily routines and activities. For its ultimate aim, now that it is in Taurus, is about about creating ever better habits and routines that prioritize your emotional and physical well-being. With Chiron in Taurus place the focus on being more in touch with your body. Listen to it. It will speak to you. Your body wants to be healthy. Your body wants you to make healthier choices. Eventually these will replace old habits and cravings that undermine your well-being. Stick to the basics with Taurus: get plenty of sleep balanced with enough physical activity to allow you to feel grounded and connected to the Earth. In a world where there seem to be so many things that we don’t have control over, focusing on your daily routines and prioritizing your own health and well-being, can be key to helping you find the grounding that you are needing. Everyone has their own unique needs. So pay particular attention to those things that work best for you. Then you can also serve as an example for others to follow in the future.

Capricorn

About 12 days after the retrograde station of Saturn we find ourselves adjusting to the new circumstances of the whole retrograde phase. It is like finding your footing. There may have also been a few reality checks getting in the way that were needing to be processed first. But armed with this knowledge you can now readjust to what first needs reviewing and readdressing, before you can proceed with your long-term plans. In the mean time, on Monday, the centaur Chiron makes its own retrograde station in the first degree of your fellow earth sign Taurus. This is a practical sign that strongly resonates with you and who you are, as well as what you want to further cultivate in your life. Now that Chiron is in Taurus it will make it a point to remind you that it’s not necessarily how good you are. You are not needing to be perfect. Nor is it about what anyone else thinks about your performance. It’s about you doing you. To the best of your ability. And without getting caught up in the results. That may mean having to move through your own self-doubts, and discomfort with imperfection. Healing comes when you are able to dig down beneath the fear of failure, beneath he facades, the doubts, and to simply be the self you are when all else is stripped away. Your healing journey is to be the person you are in your heart of hearts without expectation of praise or applause. It’s as simple as that. It’s about you doing you.

Aquarius

On Monday, the centaur Chiron stations in the first degree of Taurus, for its retrograde phase which will last until January 6th. With this station can come a reminder, as well as a dread, of not quite fitting in. This is nothing new to Aquarius. Yours is a path of your own making. Unique and individualized. However, Aquarius is a social air sign, and humans are social beings. We congregate with our tribes, clans and communities, if we have one. But there are times in our lives when we are made to feel like something of an outcast, a wanderer, or like a stranger in a strange land. Even in your own home town, even in a place where you have deep roots, there is this underlying feeling of not quite fitting in. Perhaps you are on the outs with that one relative, or cannot see eye to eye with that side of the family. It can also happen that you can get so tied up with your own family, or your own tribe, to such an extent that you find it difficult to relate to anyone outside of your own group. However, Chiron in Taurus is here to challenge that concept. For in reality, you are not as alone as you think you are. With Pluto now in Aquarius (and also in its retrograde phase), you are changing on a very deep and significant level. And it is likely now that Chiron will be in Taurus that your home, your family and your community are going to be reflecting those changes. And this in turn will be compelling you to go even deeper, literally transforming the very idea of belonging and what that will mean for you going forward.

Pisces

For the past week, your ruling planet Jupiter, now in the sign of Leo, was trying to instill hope. And one of the ways it was doing so was by freeing you up, or presenting you with new options and possibilities. And those options and possibilities could also have had an impact on your over all health and well-being. Meanwhile, the centaur Chiron, our wounded healer, is making its retrograde station on Monday in the very first degree of Taurus. And whereas Jupiter is placing its emphasis on your over all health and well-being, Chiron’s focus is primarily on your mental health and well-being. However it could also be placing some emphasis on your knowledge about things that have to do with supporting your (or other’s) health and well-being. One of the things that can come up with the station of Chiron are some doubts.. it seems the more you know, the more you learn, the more you realize what you don’t know. The truth is, you cannot possibly know everything. But one thing that may become apparent is not only what you don’t know, but also that there are different points of view. And your view may not necessarily be the conventional view. Just know that this does not necessarily make you or others wrong. In some way Chiron is asking you to embrace your own unique voice and point of view, while accepting others for where they are. This acceptance will allow you to better connect with others while still honoring your own inner knowing.
