Full Moon in Sagittarius Horoscopes

May 28, 2026 Lauren Coleman

For the Full Moon for your sign this week, be sure to read your Rising Sign and/or natal house where 10º of Sagittarius falls in your natal chart:

Aries

(9th House) Full Moons are illuminating, and this one can help you gain a higher perspective allowing you to see things more clearly. As you stand within the light of the Full Moon in Sagittarius, ask yourself: What is being revealed to you? What truths were you unable to see before? Like standing on the peak of a mountain, you can see the path that brought you to this place and time, as well as the roads that are unfolding before you. If you managed to get waylaid or go off on a tangent, this is an opportunity to get you back on track again. Something is being revealed about your journey. This includes the very ideas and beliefs that support that journey. Those ideas that support you and your purpose will be verified. However, any misconceptions that are distracting you from your goals, or are deceiving you with false ideas, will be challenged. Lean into the former and release the latter. Know that if an idea or belief is sound and right and true, it will be able to stand up against even the most rigorous of challenges or arguments. Release false ideas that are leading you astray, and trust that your inner guides are leading you precisely where you need to be right now.

Taurus

(8th House) Full Moons can shine a light in even the darkest corners of our lives. As a result things that you were not able to see before, are now being disclosed. These may be things that you were in denial about, ignoring, or simply not paying attention to. Perhaps they were hidden behind that jar on the shelf of your mind. Or they were things that were deliberately hidden. Now they are in full view. And it is up to you as to whether you want that thing or not. Is it something that feeds you? Is it something that brings you benefit? Does it make you feel larger than life? Or is it something that is draining you? Making you feel smaller. Cultivate the former. Those are the things that will bring you to the next level of you journey. And for those things that are costing you, draining you, or no longer benefitting you, simply need to be released. This makes room for those things and people that you know you want to invest your valuable time and resources on. Those things that ultimately will benefit you the most, and are capable of supporting you for some time to come.

Gemini

(7th House) Full Moons are times of culmination and completion. Therefore if your birthday falls on or around the Full Moon in Sagittarius on May 31st, the new beginning implied by your Solar Return may require you to tie up some loose ends first. This may include bringing an old order to some sort of completion this year in order for you to then make a new start. This can be a good thing. Like bringing the conclusion to a dry spell in your life, and then opening up all sorts of opportunities that were not previously available. It could also be that you are that much more aware of the Full Moon energy trying to free you up in some wonderful way. Full Moons can give us an objective perspective on our lives. Relationships, especially the closest ones, are often foremost in our minds when the Moon is in the opposite sign from our own. And this Moon can be about exploring those things that are standing in the way of making deeper, more lasting commitments to others. Within this context your ruling planet Mercury is entering Cancer on Monday, asking you to more fully consider your truest and most heart-felt priorities. Are your needs being met? Are you feeling seen, supported, and needed? And if not, what are you needing more of?

Cancer

(6th House) The Full Moon in Sagittarius each year is when you get to see the results of efforts you have been making to improve certain areas of your life. If you have been successful, the Full Moon will give you the glorious feeling of a job well done. This can be for some sort of health initiative or regimen, or it could be about your daily activities that normally occupy your time. Your work. A project you’ve been working on. This will encourage you to want to do more of that. Seeing good results can be encouraging and a reason for celebration. And if there are things that could use some improvement, this is when you are more likely to make those adjustments. Where is there room for improvement? The planet Mercury will also enter your sign on Monday, were it will remain all the way through the first week of August. This can bring the opportunity to learn new skills or to improve the skills you have, perhaps to reassess your routines, or replace old outworn habits with new and better ones that will support you for some time to come.

Leo

(5th House) Each year the Full Moon in Sagittarius shines a light on all those things (and people) that truly bring you joy and happiness. Those things that make your life that much fuller. Full Moons can also be quite emotional. So don’t be surprised if you find yourself wearing your heart on your sleeve, in full view of everyone and everything. This is when Leo is more inclined to declare their love, let others know what you really feel about them, and to stand in the limelight of your greatest achievements of the year. Bask in the glory of who you are and what you have accomplished. Be a shining star, and accept whatever rewards  come your way with grace and a sense of generosity. Full Moons are usually about things coming to some sort of culmination or completion. But whatever achievements made can also serve as a foundation for ever better things to come in the future as well. This is a Moon of hope. Next year, for the Full Moon in Sagittarius in 2027, Jupiter, the planet of expansion will be in Leo! Therefore, if those rewards are not all that forthcoming right now, think in terms of what you would want to be more fully recognized for in the future, and aim to see them fulfilled by the Full Moon in Sagittarius next year.

Virgo

(4th House) All of your feelings, your wants, your emotional needs, are being laid bare for all to see with the Full Moon in Sagittarius. And that can include whatever emotional needs are or are not being met. Full Moons are times of culmination, and can show you both the benefits of what you have been working on all year, as well as what is lacking. The Full Moon in Sagittarius, however, is a Moon of hope, and in showing you what needs working on, it can also show you the remedies and opportunities for greater fulfillment in the future. You may get the feeling of having certain areas of your life being unbalanced. If that is the case, what can you do to remedy the situation? Are there ways that you can shore up greater safety, security and belonging that will support all the areas of your life? The Full Moon in Sagittarius shines a light on those things we know we can trust and rely on to guide us. For Virgo, you are being asked to rely on your own inner guides to lead you to make the best decisions going forward. Let your intuition and inner knowing help you to make the best decisions going forward.

Libra

(3rd House) What ideas about yourself are you still holding on to, even if they may no longer be valid for who you are and where you are now? Full Moons have this way of bringing all sorts of things to the surface: feelings, memories, and even some deeper understanding about your own mind and perspective. The Full Moon in Sagittarius wants you to grow even beyond your previous expectations of yourself. And in order to do so, you may find it necessary to release some out-dated tropes that may be holding you back. On the other hand, this is also when you could see some of the rewards of positive thinking, and be encouraged to further stoke the flames for a more optimistic outlook and attitude in the future. This Full Moon is by nature expansive. So you may also want to ask yourself, what more might you want to learn on a certain subject that has been foremost in your mind? And what information or knowledge that has benefitted you greatly over the past year, might you want to share with others? This is a generous Moon that wants and needs to share their ideas with others. Like a book opening up, all sorts of information will be made available to yourself and others in the wake of the Full Moon in Sagittarius.

Scorpio

(2nd House) When the Full Moon falls in Sagittarius each year, it aims to shine a light on how well you value yourself and what you do. It also shines a light on whether or not your needs are being met, and whether or not you are being fully appreciated for what you contribute. There is a bit of a celebratory quality to Sagittarius which is capable of bringing rewards and compliments, that do make you feel more valued and worthwhile. And if these are not forthcoming you may want to think in terms of what it is that you are needing and deserving in order to feel more valued? Mercury entering Cancer on Monday will make a trine to the North Node in Pisces, letting you know that there is a path that is already unfolding. All you have to do is discover what that is and where it is to be found. In the mean time, use the Full Moon to cast a ritual of abundance by gifting something to yourself, that you really really want. Think of it as a symbolic token of all of the abundance that is there at your disposal, and that you wish to embrace in your life going forward. Then with the utmost gratitude, send that same wish for abundance out to others, that they may also benefit from your generosity.

Sagittarius

(1st House) The Full Moon in Sagittarius falls at almost 10º of Sagittarius and will be felt most strongly by those who have their Sun, Moon or Ascendant at or around this degree (or are born between November 29th and December 4th), however all Sagittarians are going to be basking in the light of this expansive Full Moon. All the more so as so many of the early Sagittarians have been feeling as if they are at a crossroad in their lives, betwixt one phase of life and the next. Full Moons are times of culmination or completion, which can also bring you out into the spotlight as a result. The Full Moon is shining a light on you, and you’ll be basking in all of the attention being showered on you from others. The Moon also shows you the results of efforts made in a certain direction. If you are happy with what you are seeing, these can serve as a foundation and inspiration going forward. If any improvements are still needed, make the commitment to do so in the light of this glorious and optimistic Full Moon.

Capricorn

(12th House) Full Moons can shine a light in even the darkest shadows of our lives. Even things that had been previously hidden, lost or forgotten can be revealed or rise to the surface in the ambit of the Full Moon. Even secrets and things from the past, or that were deliberately hidden from you can come to the surface. As a result of what is being revealed you are going to see things in a different light, which in turn, will allow you to make better and more informed decisions. And this is true even if it is not necessarily what you wanted to know or see. The Full Moon is shining a light on your subconscious mind, and as a result, all sorts of things will be revealed from these other planes. Memories about the past can also come to the surface with all of their attending feelings. This can also help to facilitate a connection to your higher self, bringing some sort of inner understanding or realization. Look for guidance through your dreams. Don’t discount them. This is one of those rare moments in which your subconscious is capable of sending messages to your waking mind. Like a bottle drifting to the shore, open up it up to see what it says.

Aquarius

(11th House) Full Moons are times of culmination or completion. Therefore this can be a time in which you could receive accolades, rewards or acknowledgments as a result of what you have been working on up until now. This particular Moon can even bring the fulfillment of a cherished hope or dream. Sometimes it can feel like a particular dream is being denied, or that it was not the correct dream for you after all. Things are revealed, and we see things in a different light. As a result it is not unusual to pivot during a Full Moon as a result of what we learn or see or understand. This would be especially so if others are not on the same page. Whatever comes out with these Moons, allows you to reassess your hopes and aspirations for the future. If you receive rewards then that can be an inspiration to keep building on what had been started. If you are ready to move on, explore what new direction you might want to go in the future that is more in alignment with your own evolving values and beliefs. With all the recent planetary shifts, the universe is conspiring to bring you precisely where you need to be in order to be in better alignment with the fulfillment of your hopes and aspirations.

Pisces

(10th House) It would not be unusual to find yourself basking in the light of the Full Moon in Sagittarius. If not personally than through your work or some position that you hold or work for that is receiving some sort of attention. You just may be feeling little more popular, or merely feeling like you are walking around the perimeter of the spotlight. But an awareness of attention is there. With Full Moons this can be for the good or the ill, but know with the Full Moon in Sagittarius especially with Jupiter in Cancer this year, that whatever transpires or is being revealed is for the best in the long run. Full Moons are times of culmination or endings. A project comes to completion. We reach milestones, achieve a goal, or see something through to its end. Depending on the results you will either feel inspired to continue to do more of the same, or perhaps pivot in a different direction that might feel more rewarding or enriching in some way. Sagittarius (and Pisces) are both signs of limitless possibilities. And so the Full Moon in Sagittarius can also serve as a reminder that tomorrow is another day with new challenges and new and hopefully even better goals to be pursued. If you are feeling a little confused or overwhelmed this week, just know that help will be there as it is needed, when it is needed.
