Aries
Expect the energy to pick up once your ruling planet Mars enters Gemini on Sunday. This could even be surprisingly so by the end of next week. If you can even channel a bit of this energy, try to use it in a way to get to all that stuff that had been lounging on the back burner of your life, but kept putting off. Mars in this sign is trying to motivate you, and DO things.
But go with caution. Mercury is stationing retrograde on Monday and you won’t want to do anything impulsively, or to say Yes when you really need to say No. And avoid trying to argue sense into anyone. It won’t work. Mercury is retro for the next 3 weeks. However one way you can make it work is by channeling it through the behests of the Mercury retro which wants you to put at least some of the focus on your home and your personal life. That can include taking care of some of those home projects that you’ve been avoiding. Combined with the Full Moon in Capricorn, there is a reminder here that if you clear out the to-do lists, clear out the stuff that you no longer need, it will make it easier for you to pursue your ultimate goals, which have something to do with having greater safety and security.
Capricorn is a Saturn sign, and since Saturn entered Aries earlier this year you were being tasked with taking charge of the direction of your life. Saturn in Aries is like a general taking command of the army. This requires hard decisions, and the courage to stare danger in the face. So searching for the best tactical maneuvers and gathering the relevant data can be a smart thing to do with the Mercury retro which continues through July 23rd. Ask questions. Process all the data. Organize it. The Full Moon can be illuminating, showing you what you have already accomplished, and what still needs to get done. Get the data, then map out the plan. You are the architect of your own best life.
Taurus
On Monday (or Sunday) Jupiter enters Leo making an exact square to Chiron which only just entered Taurus on the 19th of June. Chiron in Taurus is here to remind you that you have the right to take up space. That includes being clear about what it will take to have your own needs met. Chiron in Taurus aims to bring you the wisdom and awareness of exactly what those needs are, and why it is so important to have them fulfilled. And as Jupiter is now entering Leo it can feel like something of a conflict between whatever benefits Jupiter is trying to bring, especially on the home front and in your personal life, vs. what you are needing in order to support your own health and well-being.
On Monday Mercury will also station retrograde in the sign of Cancer. Jupiter is pushing Taurus to expand their home, their family, and put greater emphasis on your personal life, and making it feel safer, and more secure. This all sounds well and good. But you also might want to ask yourself at what cost? Taurus and Leo are both fixed signs so the inclination is to stay with what you already know. But Jupiter/Chiron is also asking you to be willing to be flexible and open to considering alternative ideas and solutions. And that can include stepping outside of your comfort zone in order to do so.
The Full Moon in Capricorn is showing you all that you have already accomplished. What you already know. Mercury is going to be retrograde for the next 3 weeks until July 23rd. During these three weeks, process all the information you already have, and then go out and ask all the questions that you still need to ask in order to be able to make well informed decisions. Chiron in Taurus square Jupiter and square Pluto can open up old wounds, but it can also bring the remedy that is needed. And that begins with honest self-awareness, understanding, with a bit of self-compassion thrown in for good measure.
Gemini
On Monday, June 29th, Mercury stations (appears to stand still) as it enters its retrograde phase in the sign of Cancer. The retrograde phases of Mercury are a prime time to process everything that has been going on, not only over this previous Mercury cycle, but for this whole past year that Jupiter had been in Cancer. And there’s a lot for you to process.
In late April, Uranus entered your sign, asking you to be a truer, more authentic version of yourself. No holds barred. This may require you to break a few rules, change some of the patterns in your life, and come to the realization that you have outgrown some previous expectations. As Mars enters your sign on Sunday, it acts like a catalyst activating the Uranus transit in your sign. It is trying to open you up to the idea that there will be a series of changes unfolding over the next several years that could completely change your life.
But in order to embrace this next leg of your evolutionary journey, you are being asked to release that which is still standing in your way. The Full Moon on the 29th/30th could show you which rules need to be broken, and which old habits are holding you back and preventing you from growing. There will be new rules and new habits to be made going forward. The rules are changing. And one of the things that you could realize in the light of the Full Moon in Capricorn is that you are being freed up. We are all on the threshold of a new order, and the Full Moon combined with the Mars transit in your sign, can act like something of a turning point, bringing an end to an old order, which then allows you to step into the life that is waiting for you on the other side.
Cancer
The Full Moon in Capricorn which always falls in Cancer season, can be something of a contradiction. This is because Full Moons are often times of completion and culmination, and can point to endings in our lives. By contrast, your Solar Return (or the Sun passing through your natal 1st house) are times of renewal and beginnings. But in order to make the new beginning implied by the Sun now being in your sign, something will first need to be brought to completion. This will be particularly so for those Cancers who have their birthdays on or around the Full Moon on the 29th/30th of June or who have 5-11º of Cancer Rising.
Because Capricorn is your partnership sign, these can also be times of culmination in your closest relationships, as well as in your career goals, in which old commitments, promises and agreements are being brought to a conclusion, while others will be deepened. What boundaries have become eroded? And which ones need to be reenforced. In order to do this well, you are being asked to consider your own well-being, your own emotional needs, and your own safety and security. You aren’t going to be of any use to anyone else unless you do so. If you give all of yourself over to others and their expectations, you will only become depleted.
Use the retrograde phase of Mercury in Cancer which begins on the 29th of June and lasts until July 23rd to connect with yourself, as well as those people who support you and feed your soul, your heart, and your sense of well-being. Make space during the days to come to reflect, to go within, to feel, to process. We are all needing to do some serious processing in order to gain greater understanding about ourselves and our lives, and this will be even more so for Cancer over the next several weeks.
Leo
On the 29th/30th, Jupiter enters Leo where it dares to open up your world in extraordinary ways. Jupiter is expansive, hopeful and protective. When it enters your sign it is trying to invest your heart and soul with a new vision for the future. One that dares to think large. And there are reasons for this. For when Jupiter enters your sign it could feel as if some great presence has just entered the room. Something that feels like hope. So Jupiter asks you to be a little audacious. To dream big. And to consequently grow in ways that you might not have even considered. Perhaps even beyond your own expectations.
However as Jupiter enters Leo it also perfects a square to Chiron, newly entered in Taurus, and then goes on to oppose powerful Pluto in Aquarius. Jupiter is trying to feed your confidence, to bring you hope. But it also seems to be doing so in the face of powerful adversaries, and forces that are working against you being able to achieve your aims. These are all ‘fixed’ signs, so this could feel a bit like a stand-off. You could choose to ignore the impending forces that you are now facing, and hide behind a wall of denial and self-protection. But that would be a shame. For when you have the courage of your convictions, and are able to face the reality of the challenges you are taking on, you can literally turn what feels like an obstacle into a strength. You could even (dare we say it?) change the world.
Just know that so much depends on motive. Those who are mesmerized by their own power or position, and allow it to go to their heads, and so abuse it, are more likely to be brought to their knees, destroyed by their own desire for personal power. By contrast those Leos that we adore so dearly, those Leos who inspire us also to be something greater, who are willing to stand for righteousness, what is true, what is ethical, what is the Good, will have the force of the Universe at their backs. Know this and go with the heart-felt confidence that only Jupiter in Leo can bring.
Virgo
I slept and I dreamed that life is all joy. I woke and I saw that life is all service. I served and I saw that service is joy. ~ Rabbindranath Tagore
Virgo finds meaning and gratification through their work, and in offering some sort of service to others. When you find that calling, that form of service that touches your heart, this is your everything. Each year the Full Moon in Capricorn allows you to see whether you have truly found that one thing that you can offer to others, that life’s work that is something that you cannot not do. This year the Full Moon on the 29th/30th is also making you aware of what is standing in the way of you being able to fully devote yourself to that path. Perhaps a looming uncertainty about the future over which you have no control? Your own fears and insecurities? Maybe a little of both? And knowing this, the next question should be what you can do about these.
This week your ruling planet Mercury stations for its retrograde phase which lasts from the 29th of June until July 23rd. This gives you the opportunity to step back in order to process and assimilate all that you had been learning, not only over the previous Mercury cycle which began way back on March 7th, but also over the previous year that Jupiter had been in the sign of Cancer. Now as Mercury appears to stand still at 26º of Cancer and prepares to retrace its steps, it will bring you back into the past, where you will reconnect with old aspirations, wishes, and heartfelt connections that once carried so much meaning, but may have fallen to the wayside. This is not about returning to the past. Rather it is about returning to those underlying feelings that had invested what you had created.
To do this well, make time over the next several weeks to sit with yourself. Reflect, go within, feel, and process. We are all needing to do some serious processing in order to gain greater understanding about ourselves and our lives. Then take those same feelings, and use these to invest new aspirations for the future with greater meaning. A new horizon is unfolding, with a new culture, and a new set of expectations, both on your side and the side of others. Instead of rejecting anything that feels new, take steps to better understand it. Ask questions. Be flexible. And be open. This will help you to find your place in the scheme of things, and allow that new path to be invested with that ineffable meaning that you seek.
Libra
It may come as something of a surprise that your usual tendency to want to collaborate and partner with others is not necessarily working in your favor these days. It often feels as if others are either not available, or it is just too difficult to make connections in the ways that you are accustomed to doing. As a result it will often feel as if you cannot rely on others to be there for you. In fact, at times, it may even feel as if people are trying to block you or test you. The Full Moon in Capricorn on the 29th/30th could show you who is making things harder for you, vs. those who you know you can count on to support you in your decisions and your endeavors, come what may.
Like standing at the top of a mountain, the Full Moon affords you the opportunity to see all that you have accomplished thus far, and where you might want to go from here. But knowing where you need to set stronger boundaries with others, or where you need to be more flexible can be key to your success over the months ahead. Flexibility is particularly important right now because just hours before the Full Moon culminates, Mercury stations for its retrograde phase.
Do not assume that you already have all the answers. Use the retrograde phase of Mercury which lasts from the 29th of June until the 23rd of July, to ask questions, gather data, and allow yourself to clarify whatever information you already have. Be open to the new. There may be unseen solutions that you had not realized were available in order to achieve your goals, and before you make any major decisions for the future. If you find yourself being drawn in a new direction, or considering doing so, be very clear about what your expectations are, and they of you. Get to know the new environment, the culture, the feel of the place before you make your final decision. There could be some surprising twists and turns that could change your mind.
Scorpio
Jupiter enters Leo on the 29th/30th, lighting up your future as well as your opportunities with greater hope and possibility. As a result the long term picture could be looking up for you. Rewards could be imminent. You may even have the opportunity to make a cherished dream a closer reality. With Jupiter in Leo, you can expect doors to open, to receive some sort of recognition, or even a promotion. This is because Jupiter wants you to be in a position in which you are challenged to grow. Perhaps even beyond your own expectations.
However as soon as Jupiter enters Leo is forms an exact square to Chiron in Taurus, and goes on to oppose Pluto in Aquarius. Jupiter is trying to feed your confidence, to bring you hope for the future. But it also seems to be doing so in the face of powerful adversaries, and forces that are working against you. These planets and the centaur are all in ‘fixed’ signs, so this could feel a bit like a stand-off. You could choose to ignore the impending forces that you are now facing, and hide behind a wall of denial and self-protection. But that would be a shame. For when you have the courage of your convictions, and are able to face the reality of the challenges you are taking on, you can literally turn what feels appears to be an overwhelming challenge into a strength which powers your success.
Just know that whatever positive efforts you make to promote yourself over the year ahead, or promote what you do and have accomplished, this is when you are likely to be rewarded with some sort of advancement or recognition. This is a wave you will want to ride. Therefore, despite whatever challenges you may be facing now, hang in there. Jupiter will be in Leo for the next year. Therefore, go forth with the confidence and the conviction that your fortune is well nigh due.
Sagittarius
On the 29th/30th of June, your ruling planet, Jupiter enters your fellow fire sign of Leo. Because this is your ruling planet, Jupiter makes you feel energized and filled with a sense of unbounded enthusiasm when in Leo. This will serve you well over the year ahead where Jupiter aims to restore your optimism and thrill for adventures. One thing that may become apparent is that there is a whole world out there just waiting to be explored. But that sense of adventure seems to be hampered by some ominous portents both in the world at large, as well as in your own life. Just know that Jupiter in Leo is not to be deterred, no matter how dangerous, forlorn or ailing the world may seem.
As soon as Jupiter enters Leo it makes an exact square to Chiron newly entered into Taurus, and then proceeds to oppose Pluto in Aquarius. These are all fixed signs, so these may feel like insurmountable obstacles that you are facing. Just know that the secret recipe that Jupiter brings to the table is hope. This is not about denial. Rather quite the opposite. For when you are willing to face your challenges and see them and name them, you have a greater capacity to turn what previously seemed like a hopeless situation into something almost transcendent and empowering. For with Jupiter in Leo even the most mundane experiences could find your whole perspective and view of the world changing to such an extent that you will never be able to see things the same way again.
Also on the 29th, just before the Full Moon in Capricorn, Mercury will station for its retrograde phase in the sign of Cancer, which lasts until the 23rd of July. This is actually an opportunity to go within, reflect on the past and all of the experiences that have brought you here to this place in time. It allows us to make sense of the insensible, to process all that you have experienced, not only in the previous Mercury cycle which began in March, but the last year that Jupiter had been in Cancer. Therefore your homework over the next several weeks is to make space in your life for serious reflection, introspection and opportunities to connect with your heart center. It will invest all that you do with deeper meaning and understanding.
Capricorn
On the 29th/30th of June we have our annual Full Moon in Capricorn, which represents a culmination of all of your efforts over the past 6 months and perhaps even more than that. This has been an interesting year for everyone. And that is certainly true for Capricorn who is being asked to take greater control over your own life and destiny now that Saturn, your ruling planet has entered Aries. Saturn in Aries is the General of the Army who gathers the troops, analyzes the trends and data, in order to courageously confront your fears, and dare to consider take that control.
One question that could come up is whether or not you are truly the one in control over here, or have you been negligent, allowing others needs and expectations to take precedence over your own. The Full Moon can also be illuminating, showing you where you might need to restore boundaries that had become eroded, or conversely where you are needing to be more flexible and open. Saturn in Aries wants you to be the architect of the next phase of your life. But it also wants you to be open to the possibility of going in a new direction if necessary.
Also on the 29th of June Mercury stations for its retrograde phase which lasts until the 23rd of July. This is the perfect time to reassess your relationships, promises and agreements with others. These retrograde phases allow us to step back in order to look at our lives (including our relationships and collaborations) in a more objective manner. A new horizon is unfolding, with a new culture, and a new set of expectations, both on your side and the side of others. Instead of rejecting anyone or anything that feels new, take steps to better understand them. This will help you to find your place in the scheme of things, and where you fit in.
Aquarius
On the 29th/30th of June Jupiter will enter the sign of Leo. And as soon as it does so it will perfect a sure to Chiron in the sign of Taurus. Then it will proceed to make an opposition to Pluto in the sign of Aquarius. Pluto in your sign has been challenging you to transform your life, your perspective, perhaps even your body in some significant way. Aquarius is a sign that is most often concerned with the world of ideas. As a result this is where the most significant changes will be made in your life over the next few decades, and will be the basis for all of the changes that are going to transpire over the years ahead.
And although Aquarius is a very independent sign, as Jupiter enters Leo, you may begin to see the wisdom of collaboration. Or perhaps gain inspiration from others that can serve as something of a catalyst for you to make some of the changes in your life that are imminent and just waiting for you to take some sort of action.
But because Jupiter is in the fixed sign of Leo, and Aquarius is a fixed sign as well, there can also be some resistance to the sort of attention that Jupiter in Leo can bring into your life. Why disturb the status quo?
However another shift in the cosmic fabric of our lives involves the planet Mars entering Gemini on Sunday. The reason this is significant to you is that as Mars enters Gemini it will make a conjunction to your modern ruling planet Uranus, and trine Pluto. So not only is Jupiter entering Leo something of a catalyst, but perhaps even more so is the Mars transit which can bring some unexpected and perhaps even exciting twists and turns in your life. Know that it is at the very core of your nature to disturb the status quo, or anything that wreaks of stagnation. You are needing to be free to fully express yourself, and more fully embrace the person that you are becoming through the auspices of Pluto in Aquarius and now Mars/Uranus in Gemini.
Pisces
On the 29th/30th your traditional ruling planet, Jupiter, will enter Leo bringing you along for the ride. As a result of the transition you can feel the shift in the energy. It feels like life, like hope, like freedom and joy, and hope for the future. It will bring this joy into the everyday and mundane avenues of your life. Ultimately it will support your health and well-being. But as soon as it enters Leo, Jupiter will perfect an exact square to our wounded healer, Chiron, before proceeding to oppose Pluto in Aquarius. As a result at first, what you might be confronted with are what could feel like insurmountable challenges. And there may indeed be some real-life challenges that are needing to be faced. But not ignored. For if you are willing to face your challenges you will also receive the tools that can transform what appeared to be challenges into opportunities. And if you cannot transform them, you will be given creative or alternative ways of working around them.
For as soon as Jupiter approaches its opposition to Pluto it will also trine your modern ruling planet Neptune in the sign of Aries. All of that fire is inspiring you to take the reins of your life into your own hands in order to create something both relevant and beautiful. Something that can transcend earthly limitations and move beyond them into the greater world of possibility. Something that can fulfill the promises being made as Jupiter now enters Leo. Something that feels like hope.
