For Uranus entering Gemini and its impact on your sign (or natal house if you know it):
Aries
(3rd House) It may seem as if the world about you, even your very neighborhood, is subject to all sorts of sudden changes and even a few surprises. That neighbor that you thought you knew so well, seems to have a few extra quirks you had not previously noticed. This could be a source of inspiration and wonder, or it could be totally dysregulating. And that goes for just about everything. Part of that is because you are willing and able to look at the world through a different lens, and so are startled by new discoveries that could even be shocking, and at the very least throw you back on yourself. As a result you will never be able to see things quite the same way again. This can be a good thing as Uranus dares you to see things from another perspective. It opens up your senses while it is here. But it could also challenge previously held assumptions, as it becomes evident that what you previously believed to be true is not quite what you had thought they were. At some point over the next 7 years be prepared to be amazed by a subject you study, a class you take, or a significant conversation that opens your heart and mind. It could even feel like the very landscape is shifting. But it could offer opportunities to see solutions where previously you only saw problems, and to make new discoveries about yourself and the environment in which you live, that you had not realized before. Just know that the more open you are to looking at things from this other perspective, or through this new lens, the more excited you will be, and the more you will benefit, as you see the world as a source of wonder and curiosity.
Taurus
(2nd House) For the past 7 years that Uranus has been in your sign it has been daring you to be a truer, more authentic version of yourself. And each year just brought a clearer and more defined reminder of what that is, and what it might entail. If you have been holding on to the status quo, and not quite ready to make further changes, there will still be opportunities to do so from November to April when Uranus returns for the last time to your sign. But now that it is entering Gemini, you are going to be questioning the ways that you might be compromising all that just for the sake of financial security or to maintain the status quo. If this has been at the expense of your individuality, your freedom or creative edge, you won’t want to be compromised any further. One does need to survive in the world. But if you are feeling especially limited or stuck due to your financial obligations, changes may be called for. Uranus has this way of shaking things up, and while in Gemini you may consider withdrawing from certain financial obligations, perhaps going free-lance, or other ways to live your own best life. At some point over the next 7 years, Taurus will be more willing to take certain risks in order to get your priorities in order. We will speak more to this next year when Uranus enters Gemini for good, but int he mean time think about what you are, or are not, willing to risk in order to live a truer, freer and more authentic life and lifestyle.
Gemini
(1st House) No shackles will hold you, no limits will bind you now that Uranus will be in your sign. It is dipping its toes into Gemini this year, entering on July 7th and then returning to Taurus in November for one last hurrah. It will then enter Gemini for the long haul on April 27th. But even now, especially those early degree Geminis will already be feeling the rise in energy, and the hope for a freer life and lifestyle. This is an incredibly restless transit, which will need a certain amount of freedom in order to allow you to find your place in what could feel like a quickly changing world. And because it is so essential for you to discover what that is, you will resent, resist and even rebel against anyone or anything that tries to get you to conform, limit, define, or label you. You won’t be having it, because you are the one who needs to do all the defining. Not anyone else. What Uranus will be asking of you, more than anything, is to be a truer, more authentic version of yourself. Not the version that others expect you to be. And not necessarily different from who you used to be. Just more genuine. People will remark at the changes you seem to be going through. And some may not even like them. You may even surprise yourself! Just know, that if people do not appreciate the changes you are going through over the next 7 years, they never really knew you to begin with. Be open to the new, don’t shy away from experiences. They will show you things about yourself, that you may not have had the opportunity to previously express or cultivate.
Cancer
(12th House) We collect a lot of space junk in our minds and psyche about who and what defines us. Now that Uranus is in Gemini, you are being asked to clear out the stuff that is no longer relevant. For Cancer, the sign Gemini has a lot to do with the past. So you may ask yourself at this time: what are you still carrying around with you that you no longer need, and may in fact be holding you back and preventing you from growing? This can include things like old resentments, old problems, old worries, old ideas about yourself and who you are that are no longer valid. Things from the past have this way of rising to the surface when Uranus is here. It’s time to release the negative tropes and cast them out of your psyche. Uranus has this way of forcing things up and out into the open so that you can deal with them once and for all. And then when you have cleared out the clutter, it makes space for you to reacquaint yourself, with yourself in a whole new context. Uranus has this way of shaking things up and shaking off a whole batch of things in the process as it moves through Gemini. Much of that will be freeing and rejuvenating. But there could be some things that get caught up in the mix: precious items, long-cherished mementos, that somehow get displaced. If that is the case, know that no one can take away those things that are truly a defining part of who you are. For those are the things beneath all the space junk which you will carry with you always in your heart and mind, and can never be taken away.
Leo
(11th House) For Leo, having Uranus in Gemini almost seems like it is coming home. Whatever changes you have made in your life over the past 7 years are bringing all sorts of realizations about who you are and where you belong. Uranus in Gemini can open up your world in wonderful and unique ways. You have been growing into a whole new group of people or a community which you identify with, and which seems to inspire and further your growth through your association with them. Any holdovers that attempt to limit you or try to get you to conform, will only be resisted. But people who challenge you to rethink your old ways of thinking and doing things, will be more fully appreciated. Uranus wants to bring you opportunities to grow and to be free enough to be able to adjust your current aspirations for the future, in order to bring them more in alignment with your true purpose. And hopefully during the 7 years that Uranus will be in Gemini, new connections and associations made will help you to broaden your perspective and rethink your old ways of doing things. Through these new networks and associations, you could change your whole outlook, as you come to realize that you don’t have to keep going along with the same old narratives, and that there might actually be better ways of doing things. Uranus looks for ways to open us up to possibility. And while Uranus is in Gemini it will often and likely do so through your friends, networks and associates.
Virgo
(10th House) Now that Uranus is entering Gemini, where it will remain for the next 7 years, you will find it very difficult to deal with or work under restrictive or repressive circumstances. Uranus has this tendency to break down the structures that prevent us from growing. And this will be even stronger if you’ve avoided making necessary changes as you’ve been going along. Not unusual for people to lose a job, leave a job, the job itself changes, or external conditions affect your career when Uranus is in Gemini. And it is not unusual to feel really restless if you find that your job has become too routine or repetitive. There could even be the temptation at some point over the next several years to throw over an existing job and start all over in a whole new direction. This won’t be true for everyone. If you are involved in a career or job that allows you opportunities for growth and/or creative freedom, you are less likely to get that feeling of being trapped, or like you are stuck in a rut. Any area of your public life that has become stale or limited will inevitably require changes. We continue to grow and evolve internally even when our outer lives don’t necessarily reflect that. And if that is the case, Uranus will accelerate the process, daring you to leap out into the unknown and make whatever changes are required. This is about having the freedom to be able to grow in new and exciting ways, and lord help anything that stands in the way.
Libra
(9th House) We look for ways to fit into society: we belong to this religious group; follow that political party. Our beliefs help to define our place in the world and help us to make sense of it. But then Uranus enters Gemini and comes along to challenge these beliefs by showing us that there are alternative ways of looking at the world. Not everyone believes the same things we do. We become more aware of this as we travel through the world, take an extensive educational course, or some other experience that opens the mind and perspective. This is what happens to Libra when Uranus enters Gemini. Uranus dares you to evolve. And it does so by challenging previously held beliefs and ideas, especially if they are preventing you from further growing. If you have outgrown those previous beliefs, they will no longer suffice, and you will find yourself stretched to have to defend them. Even if the transit of Uranus in Gemini does not accompany any drastic leaps of faith, at the very least it can show you new ways of looking at the world. Uranus wants you to expand your vision while it travels in this sign. And sometimes that can be as simple as being introduced to new and innovative ways of looking at the world. That can come about by traveling overseas, or becoming immersed in an educational program, or some other experience that dares you to stretch beyond your accustomed way of thinking. Just know, that once your eyes are opened, you will never quite see the world the same way again. Be prepared to be amazed.
Scorpio
(8th House) It would not be unusual in the years that Uranus will be in Gemini that Scorpio will experience at least one life-changing event. This could even feel like something of a turning point, where one phase of life gives way to another the result of which your life will never be quite the same again. Uranus lets you know that it is time to begin anew, and there is nothing left but to adapt to whatever changes are occurring. It can also happen that any limiting obligations or contracts with others will no longer be tolerated, and you will look for ways to free yourself up from these. Also not unusual, especially if you are dependent on another’s income, that these could prove to be unreliable during this time. Uranus is inconsistent and changeable, forcing you to look for more reliable and independent sources of support. Gemini, for Scorpio, can be something of a complex sign, so that while Uranus is here, all the things that you would normally prefer to keep on the down low has this way of revealing itself to the world at large, and there’s nothing to do but to flaunt it if need be. Even those sacrilegious thoughts, those shameful feelings dare to be released from their shackles. But beneath all the forbidden and the shameful are all sorts of gifts, talents and creative ideals that have been lying in wait for just this opportunity to make themselves known. In this way, this is also a magical sign for Scorpio. Therefore as Uranus wakes up the Gemini parts of your psyche and soul, embrace all that is magical, creative, healing and wonderful, for she is just yearning to be unleashed.
Sagittarius
(7th House) Sagittarius is actually pretty independent. They like their freedom, and don’t necessarily need to be looked after, or have to rely on others. However, if you are accustomed to being in a relationship, and unexpectedly find yourself adrift now that Uranus will be in Gemini, this could feel a little disorienting. Even for Sagittarius. You learn something about your partner that you had not realized or seen before. They appear distracted with other things, as are you, and they are not in their usual places, doing their usual things. This can apply to most of your closest allies, across the board. Uranus has this way of shaking things up. And another way it can do so is by introducing you to new people who may be quite different from what you are usually accustomed to. Perhaps they are a wee bit younger, or older, or come from a very different background from yours. If that is the case, know that they are trying to show you aspects about yourself that you may not have fully appreciated or developed. This is why they seem so compelling, so exciting and new. And what you learn from these new relationships can also show you that you don’t always have to do things the same way as you always have in the past, and that there might be better ways of doing them, including your relationships, that you had not previously considered. Uranus not only shakes us up, he aims to free us up. And in general, through acceptance of others as individuals in their own right, you are also being given permission to be a more honest and authentic version of yourself.
Capricorn
(6th House) Uranus in the sign of Gemini can bring all sorts of unexpected changes and sudden shifts. And for Capricorn this can occur either through your work, your job, as well as in your everyday routines and daily activities. Uranus aims to mix things up a bit. And in order to find your place in the changing landscape you may find yourself experimenting with different skill sets, different positions, while learning how to better multi-task and stretch yourself in the process. As a result, sooner or later, it will become more apparent as to what your own unique talents actually are. You learn a new skill. You cross train. Perhaps you learn a new technique or are introduced to some new technology that makes your life so much easier. Anything that becomes too rote, or any ruts that you might find yourself in will be less tolerable, as Uranus wants you to change things in your daily routines. Note that during the years that Uranus will be in Gemini, even small, seemingly insignificant changes can open you up to ever more creative possibilities and opportunities. Things can move quickly when Uranus is in Gemini, forcing you to adapt and keep up with changes as they arise. If nothing else take advantage of the opportunities that arise to experiment and try new things. As said, even small changes can have a considerable impact on your daily life when Uranus is in the sign of Gemini.
Aquarius
(5th House) Uranus being in Gemini for the next 7 years could prove to be an exciting period for Aquarius. There is a sense of excitement and anticipation when your modern ruler enters your fellow air sign of Gemini. As a result you will be more willing to try new things, go new places, and meet new people. Be ready. For in some way your life could change breaking down old patterns and stultifying habits. More than anything, Uranus wants us to grow and expand our horizons. That can include taking a few risks, and breaking down any inhibitions that are standing in the way of you doing so. Like a bird that had its wings clipped, you are now being asked to remember what it feels like to fly. No cage will confine you while Uranus is in Gemini, as you are being given the keys to your own self-imposed limitations. You are needing to allow your inner child to be free enough to establish her own unique and independent identity. And it would not be unusual if you have your own children for them to express their own independence and individuality during these years. It’s not always easy to just let yourself go. There are rules of engagement and propriety. Just be prepared to toss some of those rules, especially those that are holding you back, and allow your inner freak flag to do her thing. You will notice that the more repressed you have been feeling, the greater necessity to just let it all hang out. Do not ignore what needs reclaiming. The results will be their own reward.
Pisces
(4th House) Now that Uranus will be entering Gemini, it will often seem that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence. And this could sometimes even be true! Changing locations may or may not be the answer to all your problems even though it may often feel as if that is the case. Just know, that no matter where you end up, whether you stay or you go, you’ll always be wondering about those other possibilities over there. Uranus is a restless planet. And that can be especially so in the sign of Gemini. Uranus has this way of shaking things up, and while in the sign of Gemini, you could find some sudden and significant changes in your home and personal life, where you might prefer things to be a little more predictable. People move out. People move in. You renovate. You move. Or something happens close to home compelling you to drop everything else in order to put your attention where it is needed. For some this could even be disorienting. However, it can also be incredibly revealing. This is where you hold your history, your roots, your ancestors and legacy. And anything that may be or had been overshadowing what is unique and special about you will not longer be tolerated. This is why that inner search often happens. It’s nothing less than finding that place in the world where you do not need to explain yourself to anyone.
