For the week of June 13th thru the 20th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Aries
Your Aries ire is up this week. This can be a blessing or a curse depending on how you use it. A blessing if you are willing to use the energy to get you out of any ruts or doldrums you may have found yourself in. A square between your ruling planet Mars and Uranus can get anyone up and moving. It dares you to be loud, to stand up and be seen. It taunts you to try new things and declare your independence. And it doesn’t stop there, even after the Mars/Uranus square on Sunday. Aries is picking up all that wanton energy and running with it, even when Mars enters earthy Virgo on Tuesday. Negatively, Mars/Uranus can be chaotic and explosive. You’re not having it. So don’t be surprised to see yourself impulsively expressing yourself without a care in the world for what the repercussions might be. You’re going to be you no matter what, and lord help who stands in the way. So use the Mars/Uranus square this week, instead of it using you. Channel that authenticity and drive. Make a declaration. Use it as a turning point, an inspiration, a call to action. Then when Mars enters Virgo on Tuesday, carry it as a banner declaring your convictions and beliefs. Note that for the 2 months that Mars will be in Virgo, this is about channeling all that energy and verve into actions that can and will be in service to others. This week is an inflection point. Use it and use it well.
Taurus
It’s been a good 7 years, but Uranus is almost, not quite, but almost out of your sign. In the very last (what astrologers call anaretic) degree of Taurus, Uranus is giving a final siren call before it leaves, with a bit of chaos and noise. This is only a temporary declaration, and will calm down afterwards. Just know that this week can be something of a turning point, a call to action, a reminder that we’re not in Kansas any more. This weekend Mars in Leo will make a shocking and potentially explosive square to Uranus. This can be a good thing, especially if you have been feeling stuck. Mars/Uranus weather can make us aware of new solutions in order to address any existing challenges. But it can also be associated with restlessness and an over-riding desire to just escape. A lot depends on how resistant you have been to any necessary changes. If you are where you are supposed to be, you may still feel the restlessness and agitation, but it will otherwise go unnoticed without too much ado. However, if you are like a taut rubber band ready to break or snap back, this could be the aspect getting on your last nerve. Heed the call, but do so strategically. With Uranus making creating an innovative cradle with the other planets for the foreseeable future, know that new challenges require new solutions and well thought out strategies to implement them.
Gemini
This week is something of an inflection point. Not the end point, the turning point. So be prepared to see a lot of things coming to a head in and around you, in a way that shifts the perspective. What you don’t want to do is put yourself in the middle of all of it. Your ruling planet Mercury is right at the mid-point of an explosive Mars/Uranus square this weekend, and the last thing you want to do is to poke the bear, or put yourself in the middle of some sort of crisis that appears to be heating up. Best to probably avoid potentially dangerous people, activities or things.. especially if they seem a little edgy. And just walk away if need be. On the other hand, what this weather can also show us are new solutions to any existing problems. This weather can be really helpful for getting us out of whatever ruts we may find ourselves in. Just do so carefully, and avoid rushing into anything without first testing the water. You just never know what might be coming around the corner in this type of weather. It kind of catches you by surprise. One of the hidden benefits to this transit this week, is the ability to look at a situation from another perspective or point of view, which can completely change the whole picture. There could be a bit of chaos intertwined, but the week can also bring illuminating realizations and hopeful surprises in their wake.
Cancer
Last week we spoke about Jupiter entering Cancer, and how he is daring to make your world just a little bit larger. But also as Jupiter first enters your sign it will make an exact square to Saturn and Neptune at the very top of your Solar or natal chart. This can be seen as something of an inflection point in the lives of many. Those Cancers born in the earliest degrees will probably have this corroborated this month, but everyone will feel the shift this month with these critical squares. Jupiter wants you to grow and expand your horizons, to dream big, but with responsible Saturn also in the picture, you question whether or not you are taking on more than you bargained for. It could feel as if you are having to fill some big shoes. And wonder whether or not you were looking at things realistically, especially in a world that seems to be shifting and changing before your very eyes. There is nothing to do but to take take things day to day. No regrets about the past (there is nothing to be done about that) but neither should you worry about a future that is yet to be written. Jupiter wants you to grow, to expand your world view, and move beyond your fears and doubts. Take your dreams seriously but also temper them with the wisdom that all things come in their own time, at their own pace, and in their own way. And you’ve got time. Jupiter will be in Cancer for the whole year ahead, just daring your world to get a little bit bigger.
Leo
Mars is finishing out its transit through your sign with a bit of a flash and a bang this weekend as it makes a square to Uranus at the very top of your natal or solar chart. Those Leos born at the very end of the sign will be most sensitive to this transit, but everyone will probably be either feeling it or noticing it in their lives. Mars/Uranus weather can be full-blown surprising and unexpected in its effects. Like a match to a powder keg, anything that had been simmering on the back burner of our lives is more likely to explode when Mars meets Uranus. Sometimes reckless and impulsive, this is not weather to be taken lightly. You will want to tread lightly and avoid jumping in where the faint of heart rarely go. There can be the inclination to act without thinking, leading to all sorts of repercussions. However, Mars/Uranus aspects can also get us out of ruts, lift us out of our lethargy and get things moving. Mars square Uranus combined with the Jupiter squares this week can even be something of a turning point in our lives: illuminating, inspiring and revealing. Mars/Uranus weather is often rife with chaos and unexpected twists and turns, but they can also open up our eyes. Therefore pay attention to what this transit is bringing you this weekend, for we may be revisiting this inflection point a few more times over the year ahead.
Virgo
This week could be something of a turning point as your ruling planet, Mercury, comes to the mid-point of the Mars/Uranus square this weekend. Hold on to your hat, for there’s no telling where this will land. What you don’t want to do is get in the middle of some sort of fracas. Mars/Uranus weather can be surprising, unexpected, and even explosive in its expression. Just be aware of your surroundings, read the room, and retreat when necessary, especially if people or circumstances start feeling a little edgy. Even if you are not the one reacting to this potentially volatile weather, others may, and you don’t want to get in the line of fire. On the other hand, this weather could also prove to be illuminating. Perhaps also in a surprising way. Perhaps in a way that can completely change your perspective and point of view. One of the things that we can become aware of when Mars is square Uranus are new solutions to the problems we may be facing, which can be incredibly liberating and freeing. Even if nothing externally changes, that change in perspective can feel like you were just given the keys to your own self-imposed jail cell. And like a get out of jail free card, you can now see possibilities where previously you only saw limitations and doubts.
Libra
Jupiter is now at the top of your natal or solar chart asking you to make your mark on the world. There are vistas to be explored, and personal bests to be made. But just as Jupiter entered Cancer last week it was also coming to perfect its squares to both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. These squares can sow doubt, they can intervene in the plan, side-step and veer away from the course you embarked on. Or so it seems. Just know that this is okay. In some ways this is something of a correction and an adjustment to conflicting messages telling you both to stop and to go. Jupiter wants you to grow in some wonderful way, to show the world what you have to offer. To live your own best life. But Saturn and Neptune make things seem so uncertain and uncomfortable. Perhaps it feels as if your chances for success rely too much on the needs and expectations of others. Or perhaps you fear taking on too much what with the responsibilities you already have. If that is the case, you may want to explore what is holding you back and keeping you from growing and expanding your vision for the future. Even if there are conflicting messages, rather than thinking of these as limitations, shift your perspective in order to focus on those things that you do have control over. And offer the rest over in divine acceptance for what you don’t have control over.
Scorpio
As your ruling planet Mars comes to the very last degrees of Leo it does so with a triumphant burst of flamboyant energy, and maybe a bit of chaos thrown in. It could be that you find yourself on your very last nerve, and are just not having it any more. Impatience with the unpredictability of others, and on again off again messages, could find you losing your cool. The key to using Mars/Uranus transits well requires you to stay in the eye of the storm without getting dragged into the melee. To make the most out of the transit, find ways to use the energy instead of it using you. Mars/Uranus is great for getting out of ruts, or shifting gears. What it is not good for is impulsively jumping into the fray without first checking the temperature in the room. Mars/Uranus can be down right explosive. But it can also be incredibly revealing, showing you things about others as well as your current situation. Both Mars and Uranus are shifting signs, and as they do so it will make adjustments, especially after the Mars/Uranus transit finally separates. After Mars enters Virgo on Tuesday, you may even get a sense of optimism and hope for the future. And know that for the 2 months that Mars will be in Virgo this will be a good time to engage in actions and initiatives that will promote the general welfare of others, as well as your own.
Sagittarius
No sooner has your ruling planet, Jupiter, entered the sign of Cancer then it made squares to both Saturn and Neptune in Aries. Both will perfect this week, which may just raise more questions than answers. Jupiter wants you to invest in your future, even as the contradictory relationship between Saturn and Neptune makes you hesitant to do so! A part of you wants to take risks, dream big, and reach for the stars. But another part seeds doubts in the soundness of the current climate. It’s all just so uncertain right now. This push and pull can bring a deal of restlessness, not quite knowing what is on the horizon. Should you or shouldn’t you? This is the sort of weather in which you should probably take one day at a time, waiting until things become clearer and more predictable. But this should not stop you from dreaming big, provided you are able to keep at least one foot squarely planted on the ground. This is not the week to rush into anything! Allow things to fall into place as they will, when they will. Then when clarity finally resumes you can make your move towards fulfilling your hopes with greater confidence.
Capricorn
Now that Saturn is in Aries, most Capricorns will eventually be looking more boldly to the future. However with Saturn all entwined with illusive Neptune this year, and square Jupiter this month, it may be all you can do to hold yourself back from over-extending yourself and taking on way more than you had planned. There can be an element of restlessness and impatience with this combination. What you don’t want to lose is your sense of strategy and practicality. What you also don’t want to lose is your capacity to see things for exactly what they are, putting aside impractical illusions about what you want to be true, and overly high expectations. Keep your stalwart Capricorn feet squarely planted on the ground, and keep your perspective true. Things are just way too uncertain when Saturn mixes it up with this duo, and you will want a clearer window in which to strategize and plan for the future. This may take some time, what with Saturn and Neptune moving in tandem for the rest of the year. But with Jupiter also in the picture this month you will need to watch any tendency to uncharacteristically exaggerate or make promises that can’t necessarily be kept. All will become evident in the end. But for now, just pace yourself.
Aquarius
The planets Mars and Uranus, are coming to loggerheads this week, possibly drawing you into the fray. Those Aquarians who are at the very end of the sign are more likely to feel the restlessness and potential for chaos, but everyone will be feeling this edgy weather filled with surprises and possibly a few unexpected twists and turns. Perhaps the best way to handle this weather is to remain as flexible as possible allowing yourself to flow with whatever changes may be coming down the pike. In some ways this Mars/Uranus square can feel like something of a turning point. It has this ability to get us out of ruts and kick us out of any funks we may find ourselves in. What you want to avoid is jumping into things without thinking. There is a tendency for things to move a little too quickly in this weather. Positively, not only can Mars/Uranus get us motivated and active, it can also be incredibly revealing, allowing us to see new solutions for problems you may be facing. So perhaps the best advice for the week are: don’t rush into anything or make any promises without checking out all the details first; and remain flexible enough to allow for any changes of plans, or unexpected twists and turns.
Pisces
No sooner has your ruling planet, Jupiter, moved into the sign of Cancer then it perfects its squares to Saturn and Neptune in the sign of Aries. Jupiter wants you to grow creatively, to think large, and vast and even beyond your expectations. You are ready for something of a change, but you are also being cautioned not to rush into anything. Things will progress as they will, and when they will in their own time. The issue that hangs over us, is this generalized uncertainty in the air. In which case you are simply being asked to take one day at a time, and wait it out. At least until you see a clear path unfolding before you. For the past 13 years that Neptune was in your sign, you were often confronted with moments of ambiguity and uncertainty. Both of your ruling planets, your modern ruler Neptune, and traditional ruler Jupiter make an exact square this week, asking you to wistfully dream, and perhaps even dream big; but not to give up your day job just yet. You will know when and if you are ready to embark on the next leg of your journey. In the mean time, continue to take one day at a time.
