For the week of December 5th thru the 12th, see where Neptune’s influence is more likely to express itself during its station:
Aries
(12th House) This week Neptune stations direct in the very last degree of Pisces, the last sign of the zodiac. At the end of January Neptune will then re-enter your sign of Aries, beginning a whole new 165 year cycle through the zodiac. For the 13.5 years that Neptune has been in Pisces it has been trying to connect you to your dreams, to your highest ideals, those things that connect you to your spiritual center. You may have already seen old memories resurface, secrets revealed, things forgotten or that you had tried to forget insinuating themselves into your life, while also bringing an inexplicable new awareness. You may not have realized it, but these past 5 months you were tasked with re-discovering and finding your innermost soul yearnings, your most heartfelt ideals. What had previously been a vague discomfort now has pictures, memories, and explanations. Now that Neptune is stationing direct this week, look to see what valuable messages were being revealed to you. And then with a fierce determination, unburden yourself of the resentments, the disenchantment, the regrets, so that you can then enter the new cycle carrying a much lighter load. You have bucket lists and goals to achieve. You don’t need to be carrying any excess baggage into the cycle that is soon to come.
Taurus
(11th House) This week Neptune stations direct ending its 5 month retrograde phase. And as it does so it makes an exact sextile to Uranus in the very last degree of your sign. For the past 7 years, Taurus has been negotiating the ups and downs of change: changes already made, those that you are currently working on, and those that you are planning on making in the future. This is a period of adjustment, now that Uranus has briefly returned to your sign. But perhaps more importantly, combined with the current station of Neptune, you are being tasked with bringing all those changes more in alignment with your highest ideals, your most salient hopes and dreams. With Neptune swimming through Pisces these past 13.5 years, many a Taurus has probably found themselves seeking solace in the company of others who share similar ideals, and hopes for the future. Whether that be through a group that shares similar spiritual leanings, an art class, a choir or a group with idealistic aspirations, you have been finding yourself inspired by rubbing shoulders with others of like mind. Take all that inspiration, all the experiences shared these past 13 years, and distill them down to that which you can carry with you as we move forward through this liminal pass. For it is the essential essence of Neptune that we carry with us. Neptune stations direct this week. Use it to harvest that essence, so that you can use it as a lodestar going forward.
Gemini
(10th House) Now that Mercury is direct, it will re-enter Sagittarius on December 11th. But before it does so, it will touch base once again with both Uranus and Neptune for the 3rd time. Mercury opposing Uranus is excitable, and illuminating, and subject to the whims of change. For some this may be about adjusting to recent changes, or thinking about changes that you wish to make in the future. It brings an inner restlessness that dares to bring the disparate parts of your life more in alignment with what you perceive to be your highest ideals. The trines to Neptune have been urging you to look at things from a higher perspective in order to see more, and understand more. Neptune will station this coming week in the very last degree of Pisces. This affords you the ability to more deeply connect with those ideals, what your heart and soul yearns for. And by connecting with those ideals, it can also serve as a your own inner gps system, bringing you where you need to be in order to make those ideals manifest. Ask yourself: what are those things, those experiences, and achievements that have brought you the greatest meaning these past 13 years? Who or what has inspired you with a sense of purpose? What are the things that you will always remember, and have so impressed you that you will carry them with you forever? And what does it mean for you to live, or to have lived a life of meaning?
Cancer
(9th House) On December 10th, Neptune will station, ending its 5 month retrograde phase. But you will feel it all week, and especially so on the 7th when the Moon is going to be in your sign. The Moon in Cancer is not only stronger in its own sign, but is stronger and more relevant to you, especially as it will be so well positioned to bring all the disparate parts of your life into some sort of perspective and understanding. In some way you are being tasked with connecting with your own divine center. Doing so will greatly benefit you as we move through this period of transition which lasts through the next year. In some ways the station of Neptune can feel as if you are unmoored, sailing off towards some still unknown destination. But it can also be just the remedy that is needed. Sit with the station, bringing yourself into the present moment, neither regretting the past, or anxiously worrying about the future. Neptune asks us to merely be present. Connecting with Neptune is important, because as it traveled through Pisces these past 13 years it has been serving as your inner gps system. It may feel like you are drifting. But know that you are actually drifting towards something that will bring ever greater meaning to you and the life to be.
Leo
(8th House) Now that Neptune stations at this very last degree of Pisces, once and for all, you will begin to see certain aspects of your life finally reaching some sort of end. This can be a grateful ending, as it finally feels like you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. All of the uncertainty that is insinuating itself into your life. All the ups and downs. All the tests, trials and tribulations that have beset you. But betwixt and between all those life lessons, there were also lessons about being open to receiving. About being part of the sacred cycle of give and receiving, of releasing and accepting, of having faith even when it didn’t feel like it, that all will work out as it should, in its own time and in its own way. This is Neptune in its most magical guise. It was teaching you how to manifest your dreams even in the face of extraordinary challenges. Now as Neptune stalls for its direct station it’s asking you to lay down the last of the baggage that you’ve been carrying. This requires forgiveness, acceptance, and the belief that not only can life be better but that so can you. It may seem that certain aspects of your life have been fading as a result of all this. But if that is the case, just know that the end result is to make room for ever better things to come in and take root, now that the old cycle will be ending, and the new one is imminent.
Virgo
(7th House) On December 11th your ruling planet will finally return to Sagittarius. But before it does so it will recreate a Grand Trine in the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces, creating this cradle of emotional support in order to hold you as you prepare to redefine who you are in the scheme of things. Many a Virgo has been aware of certain aspects of their lives coming to closure even as they prepare to commit to the new life that awaits. Change can mean different things to different people. To some it can feel like like loss, as you see certain aspects of your life fall away. For others it can bring excitement for the possibilities that await you in the future. There will be elements of both. And these last weeks of the year can feel a bit like a transition as we dare to let go of the shore we have been holding on to, in order to finally make our way to the further shore. For these past 13 years that Neptune has been in Pisces, people have been drawn to you because they see and acknowledge the sacred healing properties of your Virgo soul. This all came pretty naturally to you. Whether by a laying on of hands, or taking in that lost puppy, or sharing your gifts and talents with others, or just saying the right thing at the right moment. Now that Neptune stalls for its direct station, you will begin to see the rewards, meaning and gratification of having done so these many years, while taking the essence of all that into this next phase of your life.
Libra
(6th House) When Neptune re-enters Aries in February it will aim to redefine the way you do relationships, as well as the way that you relate to the world in general. A shift is about to take place. And as Neptune stalls for its direct station this week, it is positioning itself in such a way to consider what that might look like. For the past 13 years that Neptune has been in Pisces you were being tasked with cultivating a healthier and/or more spiritual life and lifestyle. And now you are being asked to put all that you have learned into application, not only in your daily life and routines, but also through your relationships. You have learned so much. Being conscious and conscientious about your daily life and activities make you not only a better and healthier person, but also a better and more responsible citizen. Now that Neptune is making its direct station this week, you might want to further consider the impact that certain decisions have had on your daily life, your health, your environment, as well as the other people in your life. And now you are being asked to take the essence of all that, the very meaning of all of these, so that you can then apply all that you have learned, and share it with others in a way that it can also bring them meaning and solace in their lives as well.
Scorpio
(5th House) On December 11th, Mercury will leave your sign, entering Sagittarius. But before it does so it will travel through the last degrees of your sign bringing all the disparate parts of your life together. It does so to show you the sense of things. All the lessons and meaning and purpose of it all. For the past seven years you have been defining yourself as an independent and free person, with a life of their own. There may have been disappointments. But even these have mattered. For it is through both our defeats as well as our successes that we learn about ourselves and our place in the world. All of it. For even in disenchantment we can find ourselves. Whether enchantment or disillusionment, you were being asked to give a voice to these, and allow these to speak through you. Ursula K LeGuin wrote about this experience of allowing the sacred to speak through you. She wrote: "Who would be an artist if they did not believe that that happens? If they do not know it happens, because they have felt the god within them use their tongue, their hands?” You don’t need to be an artist to know what that feels like. It can be expressed through your work, through a hobby, through the heart, or through any unique but compelling medium. But you only need to experience it once in your lifetime to know what that is.
Sagittarius
(4th House) On December 11th, Mercury will enter your sign. But before it does so, it will be sending you all sorts of subliminal messages, perhaps through your dreams, in the stillness of the moment, if you were to just pause and listen to the voice in the silence. Within that silence you can then reflect on all the events that have brought you to this place and time. All of it. The mistakes, the despair, the burdens as well as the things that have brought you solace and meaning. The question may be, which of these would you want to bring with you on the next leg of your journey? The truth is that we learn as well from our mistakes and misadventures as we do from our successes and joys. And it is the essence of all of this that we will bring with us as we cross the liminal divide between the past and the future. For the past 13 years, you were being asked to create your own sanctuary. This could be a place, either within your home, or perhaps somewhere in the world at large. But this was not just about creating a physical sanctuary, it was also about creating a sacred space within your own mind. These may have been mutually supportive. But one thing to be realized is that when you are able to find peace within, your outer world will reflect that. It is that inner peace that allows everything to just naturally fall into place.
Capricorn
(3rd House) On December 15th, just one week before the Capricorn Solstice, Mars will enter your sign. But before it does so, it will feel like so many loose ends of your life are fading like so much dross that no longer matters. It could feel like loss. But it could also feel like you have been on the edge of discovering something precious and magical. Know that is there is this sense of loss, that it is easing the way for ever better things to come, even if you cannot see what that is just yet. One way to get a glimpse of that magic, rather than looking for it in the outer world, is to look within. One of the things that Capricorn has been learning these past 13 years is that the most meaningful and spiritual experiences are often closer to home than you realize. You can wander the whole world over in search of the infinite, and never find it. But when you return, you will be astonished to find it waiting for you, where you left it in your own backyard, where it had been all along. The reason you didn’t see it was due to all the busyness and commotion of your life. Now that Neptune stations direct this week, seek the spiritual in the more mundane areas of your life. Connect with others, lend an ear, commit acts of kindness. Listen for the whisper of the wind in the trees and pay attention to profundity in reflection. You can shrug these all off as being unimportant or a waste of time, or you can fully embrace them for what they are: the divine asking you to acknowledge its presence in the everyday and mundane areas of your life.
Aquarius
(2nd House) It may seem like a contradiction to try to manifest our highest ideals within the material world. How can perfection live side by side with the flawed? And yet that is precisely what Aquarius has been tasked with these past 13 years. And now that Neptune is going to fully enter Aries in February, you will be asked to take that vision to the next level. This week Neptune stations direct while making a creative sextile to Uranus. In some way it is bringing all of that transcendent Neptune energy home. Neptune inspires. But it will be your ruling planet Uranus that aims to provide a medium through which to express that inspiration. And make it real. For the past 13 years it has become evident, perhaps in contradictory ways, that it was not about how much stuff you did or did not have, as it was about what you did with your life, your resources, your time and your good will. Neptune in Pisces has been asking you: What were you willing to sacrifice in order to have a better life? Or perhaps to live a life of meaning? Now that Neptune stations for its last time int he sign of Pisces, all of the events of the past 13 years should come into perspective, showing you the things that were truly most important to you in the end. And it is the essence of that, that you will be bringing with you on to the next leg of your journey.
Pisces
(1st House) If nothing else, one of the things that could be brought home this week, are the ways that you are the sum total of all of your experiences, thoughts, feelings and adventures. And as we stand here at the station of Neptune this week, if you were to take all of those experiences and tell their story, what would that story tell? Would it be a tale of misadventures and sorrows, or would it be the stuff of what magic and serendipitous moments are made of? Most likely there are elements of both. And as the great lord of the diluvian depths stations this week, embrace ever more Neptune into your life in any way that is meaningful to you. Whether or not you realize it, you have been connecting with your own inner spark of divine wisdom these past 13 years. And now that Neptune is stationing direct, you are being asked to apply all that inner experience and wisdom, that sense of oneness and compassion, into your everyday life. Do good deeds. Trust your intuition and your Piscean heart of compassion to take you where you are needed the most. Then let the rest fall into place. It is when we are able to navigate both the world of magical illusions as well as the material world, that we are capable of making our dreams and visions a closer and more achievable reality.
