Horoscopes: November 7th thru the 14th

November 6, 2025 Lauren Coleman

“Still Life with Celestial Globe…” by Carstian Luyckx-Vanitas

For the week of November 7th thru the 14th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:

Aries

When Mercury is in Sagittarius we often get the urge to go abroad. However with Mercury retrograde as of Sunday and conjunct Mars, you may want to think twice. This goes beyond the trickster losing your luggage, or delaying your flight. Probably a good idea to wait for Mercury to return to Scorpio on the 18th November before checking in at the gate. Nonetheless, it’s still a good idea to bring a bit of patience and stick to carry-on baggage for the rest of the month. And there are always exceptions. For instance taking a trip back home or to somewhere you’ve been before. Reunions with family, and touching base with someone you once knew so well. Spiritual journeys, or trips that allow you to connect with your own inner seeker. While Mercury is still in Sagittarius, anything that draws you to find some sort of deeper understanding, should be on the agenda this week. This can include visiting spiritual spaces, but also taking part in activities that cultivate that inner connection with Spirit, engaging in spirited dialogues, those people or things that inspire you to greater things, and hopes for a brighter future. The retrograde period is a time of exploration and understanding, but not necessarily commitment. Things to explore this week: alternative points of view; re-exploring how you feel about an issue; becoming better informed on a subject; connecting with your most salient ethics and beliefs. Ask yourself: What are those things, those beliefs that you are willing to stand for when push comes to shove? What are those things that you are willing to put your back up against the wall for?

Taurus

On Friday Uranus returns to your sign for some unfinished business, where it will remain until the 25th of April. This is Uranus putting its final touches on all things Taurus: including removing the obstacles standing in the way of you living your own, most authentic life and lifestyle. If there are some final touches, final changes to be made, know that these are all in service to you having the freedom to be a more honest and truthful version of yourself. Uranus can bring some unexpected twists and turns to our lives. Just know that if that does happen, it is to tear up any old rotten roots, habits and obstacles that are standing in the way of progress. This is about you having the freedom to do you, without compromise, once and for all. In the mean time, Mercury stations on Sunday for its retrograde phase. There are strictures on borrowing and lending when Mercury is retrograde, signing contracts, or making binding agreements with others. Just know that these may need to be revised later. What this retrograde period which lasts until November 20th could be good for: addressing a habit that you might want to change; going into therapy; any sort of therapeutic healing program; getting paid for funds owed you in the past; finding lost objects; discovering things that were previously hidden; secrets come to light. Advice for the retro period: When discussing finances, or within a partnership, take extra care to do so patiently, simply and clearly. This will leave no room for later regrets.

Gemini

Your ruling planet Mercury stations on Sunday for its retrograde phase which lasts until the 29th of November. As it does so it will be in the opposite sign of Sagittarius, which can bring up issues concerning others. But perhaps more importantly is its tendency to make assumptions before having all the facts. Tied up with impatient Mars, the inclination may be to feel rushed, just when you are needing more than ever to take your time. Instead of getting caught up in the enthusiasm of the moment, or reacting to challenges from others, step back and reassess the situation first. The last thing you need to do is to blurt out what you are really thinking in the moment. Before you speak your mind, ask yourself: Is it true, is it helpful, is it at least inspiring, is it necessary for you to say this, and is it kind? Maybe by the time you get through this litany it will give you the opportunity to re-think the impact words can have when unfiltered. Retrograde periods are not times to rush. What the retrograde period is good for: Reflecting on what others are telling you; processing any information you have previously seen, heard or witnessed; engaging in lively debates and discussions with others; asking the questions that need to be asked in order to have greater clarity, or allow you to see things from another perspective; while also holding back from making any definite promises or commitments to others, so that you can mull them over first.

Cancer

On Tuesday, November 11th, Jupiter stations at 25º of Cancer for its retrograde phase, which lasts until March 11th. During the 4 months that Jupiter is retrograde in your sign, you are being asked to reevaluate your big vision for the future. Not only reevaluate it, but perhaps cobble together some sort of plan that will allow you to fulfill the promise of the vision that Jupiter is trying to seed in your heart of hearts. While retrograde, Jupiter will be showing you who you are, the things that matter most to you, the things that you believe in, honor and wish to see thrive and grow. When Jupiter is in its retrograde phase it turns its attention within, asking you: When your back is against the wall, what are those things, those goals, those beliefs, those causes that you are willing to stand for? In the mean time, Mercury also stations retrograde this week in the Jupiter sign of Sagittarius asking many of the same questions, about what is ethically, morally, comfortably right and true for you? Not unusual with Mercury entering its retrograde phase in Sagittarius for you to reconsider a health regimen, revise your routines, tweak your diet, or revisit anything that may have an impact on your health and wellbeing. Some things the Mercury retrograde period (which lasts until November 29th) is good for: Hiking in nature; taking long walks to nowhere in particular; sorting through old recipes; revisiting a spiritual practice that once held so much meaning for you; Catching up on work that you had put on the back burner; reorganize your work space; re-do old projects that you might have neglected.

Leo

If loved ones seem a little touchy this week, remind yourself that Mercury is stationing for its retrograde phase on Sunday, and those who are sensitive are more likely to be reactive. Just remember that worlds once said cannot be retrieved. Once they are out there, like seeds scattering in the wind, they cannot be taken back. Rather than saying what’s on your mind, or jumping to conclusions, remember the acronym THINK: Is what you about to say True? Is it helpful, inspiring or necessary? But most of all is it kind? If children or loved ones are going through something, sometimes all is necessary is to be present. Give them their space, and know that they will come around when they are ready. Rather, use the retrograde period which lasts until November 29th to reflect, review, and process what has already been said, heard, and experienced over the past several months. Don’t be so anxious to produce or make things happen. Sometimes it is more helpful to step back, perhaps even put a project down, in order to be able to see it more clearly. Like an artist putting an unfinished painting on the wall waiting for it to speak to them. Do that with your life. What this retrograde period of Mercury can be good for: Engage in activities that allow you to connect with yourself and those things that you find inspiring; Rather than worrying about producing, step out of your own way; Remembering what it feels like to look at the world with the eyes of a child: with wonder, enthusiasm and joy. Rekindling that joyful delight may be just the remedy you are needing during this retrograde phase of Mercury.

Virgo

On Sunday, your ruling planet Mercury stations for its retrograde phase which will last until November 29th. These retrograde periods are essential for our mental, physical and psychic well-being. Yes they can be rampant with mixed messages and misunderstandings, but without this opportunity to reflect, reassess, review, revisit, process and understand events from the past, we would never learn anything, we would never grow, evolve or make sense of the insensible. When Mercury is retrograde in Sagittarius, it not only allows you to make sense of the past, it allows you to go way back to the source, to your earliest memories, and to the very ancestors themselves. After the original jolt and excitement that the station could bring with this retrograde, and once you can re-ground yourself, allow yourself to go within and reassess things closer to home. This is not a time to be making major decisions in and around the home, for instance redecorating, or making any major moves (at least not yet). Rather sit with your ideas, your feelings about things, and allow them to speak to you. What the retrograde phase of Mercury can be good for: Going home, or to some place that feels like home; revisiting family; rummaging through the closets; taking care of the clutter; clearing out the old and worn; repurposing, reorganizing your domain; finding lost items; connecting with old memories. By processing and assimilating the experiences of the past, we get to make sense of the present, and consequently make better choices in the future.

Libra

Your ruling planet Venus just recently entered Scorpio bringing you into the deep and penetrating halls of this soulful sign. One of the things that may become most apparent are the ways in which your needs are or are not being met. Rather than indulging in retail therapy or feeding your starving heart, look for ways to better express any unmet longings through creative projects, or any medium that allows you to express the behests of the soul. Deeply. Connecting in this deep way will tell you a little something about yourself. Speak the words, even if you must do so in silence. And choose your audience wisely before speaking the forbidden. Mercury stations retrograde on Sunday, and you will want to choose your words carefully before blurting out anything that could prove to be regrettable later. Words unleashed are hard to take back. And not everyone has to hear everything. Nor do you need to necessarily believe everything that you hear. Typical of this sort of retrograde are things like crossed signals, missed messages, or feeling ghosted entirely. But don’t assume anything in this weather or jump to conclusions. Also know that travel can be treacherous up until the 19th when Mercury leaves Sagittarius. Gremlins create mishaps and detours. Although it can be difficult to concentrate during this period, it can be a good time to organize any clutter that had been gathering. Other things to do during the retrograde phase of Mercury which lasts until November 29th: Re-read a book; Make that phone call; make yourself informed on a certain subject; reflect on previous events, review and process. Doing so will help you to make better sense of things going forward.

Scorpio

Venus just recently entered your sign, and as it did so it was trying to reconnect you with certain priorities that have been hanging over you. Perhaps even with a sense of urgency. Remember however that timing is everything. No matter how rushed you may be feeling, there is something to be said for waiting for the right time. Do create a time line. Better yet wait until next week to do so when a plan begins to come together. But also be flexible enough for any inevitable changes along the way. We are being given permission to re-think, reassess and change our plans if we so choose. The usual cautions and glitches can apply with the retrograde phase of Mercury, including signing contracts, or making major financial decisions or commitments. Avoid these if it can at all be helped. What the retrograde phase of Mercury can be good for: Receiving payment for things owed you from the past; finding lost items; Prioritizing; and thinking about those things that you would most prefer to spend your valuable time, money and resources on. And rather than being down on yourself on what you have not accomplished, focus on those things that you have accomplished, and what you have done. Jupiter’s station on Tuesday is trying to restore hope and faith in the future, and to give you the courage of your convictions. Allow it to speak to you through the heart.

Sagittarius

On Tuesday, November 11th, your ruling planet Jupiter will station for its retrograde phase which will last until March 11th. During the 4 months that Jupiter will be in its retrograde phase we are all being asked to connect to our own inner moral compass and intentions. This is more than knowing what is right and wrong, or even judging other people’s behaviors. Rather this is a time to check in with yourself, and see how well you are living up to your own ethical standards. In this way, these retrograde phases of Jupiter each year are essential for our own spiritual and moral growth. It is also an important time to achieve some sort of inner understanding of who you are and your place in the world. It can also, over the weeks ahead allow some sort of vision for the future to unfold. But also give yourself permission to change your mind. Perhaps even more than once. Mercury will be stationing at 6º of Sagittarius for its retrograde phase on Sunday which lasts until the 29th of November, which is when we are asked to reassess, review, reflect and reconsider, but not necessarily commit. Often what seems like a great idea during the retrograde phase will show its faults later on. What you could also come to realize during this month are the power of your words. This is not only about the words being used, but also when to speak, and when not to speak. There can be wisdom in being sparing with words, no matter how urgent the message may be. Sometimes silence is not an option. In which case try a test run. Keep a journal, write out questionable thoughts on scraps, on napkins if you must, before applying the share test: Is it true? Is it helpful, inspiring, or even necessary? And most of all , is it Kind?

Capricorn

On Tuesday, November 11th, Jupiter will station for its retrograde phase while making an exact trine to your ruling planet Saturn. Inspiring. Hopeful. You begin to see a vision for the future unfolding. It’s just a matter of getting all the kinks out. In the mean time, Mercury stations for its retrograde phase this Sunday,  which is giving you permission to step back, and say No More. This may merely mean wanting to escape for a period of time. But if escape is not an option this month, you may rather consider finding that place where you can connect with yourself, just to make sure that you are indeed on the right path. Ideally this week would be a good time to go on retreat, or going to your friend’s cabin in the woods for a day or two. Ideally these retrograde phases of Mercury are excellent for reflection, reminiscing, remembering and even returning to the past. Whether that be through meditation, reverie, or literally going back to revisit a person place or thing from your past. This allows you to precess events, make sense of, and assimilate what you can from preceding events. You can do this simply by making some private time for yourself just to sit. This is a time for introspection, not action. At least not yet. Explore the past, but do not dwell on it. Explore it, while exploring your own mind and heart. That can include listening to your dreams. Then take that inspiration and gather it to you. It will serve you well over the months ahead.

Aquarius

On Tuesday November 11th, Jupiter will station for its retrograde phase while making an exact trine to your ruling planet Saturn. Whenever Jupiter stations, even when it stations retrograde, it does so with a surge of hope, and promises of happier times to come. Whether valid or not, this station inspires us enough to see a plan gradually unfolding, not based on hope and wishes alone, but also with some valid confirmation that this could actually work if you play your cards right. In the mean time, Mercury is also stationing this Sunday for its retrograde phase that will last until the 29th of November. This is not a time to be committing to any definite plans. For plans can easily change in this weather. This does not mean to give up. This is when we try things on for size. Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius is trying to get you back in touch with your original intentions, hopes and dreams. The retrograde phases of Mercury are for reassessing and revising. Reassessing and revising those dreams, but also reassessing certain associations that you’ve been involved with. Which of these are preventing you from more fully expressing yourself. And which are supporting your hopes and wishes for the future? Some may leave, others could return. All of them are trying to show you different aspects of yourself, and put the different parts of your life together. And all this is in service to reconnecting with the dreams that once were, in order to revise the dreams, hopes and aspirations for the future.

Pisces

On Tuesday November 11th, your ruling planet Jupiter will station for its retrograde phase which will last until March 11th. And as it does so, it will make a close trine to Saturn, now at 25º of Pisces. Jupiter can represent our big vision for the future. As it stations it often does so with a surge of hope, casting all his promises before him. And then as he withdraws into his retrograde phase, you are left to consider the promises and hopes that Jupiter inspired you with. Jupiter’s promises can sometimes be lofty and hard to reach. However with its trine to Saturn at the outset of the retrograde phase, Jupiter could serve as an opportunity to create a path and, dare we say, a realistically achievable plan for the future. But in the mean time Mercury entering its own retrograde phase this Sunday could see us all revising, reassessing, and perhaps even changing our minds more than once over the next few months. Be open to possibility. Consider all options. But also know that there is no rush. Sometimes in order to see a clear path forward it is helpful to pause and take a few steps back, before we proceed. This keeps us from making any regrettable mistakes or moving in the wrong direction. What the retrograde phase of Mercury, which lasts until the 29th of November, is: Reassessing, revising, and connecting with those goals that you would like to see yourself accomplish in the foreseeable future; How you wish to be seen by others; What you want to be known for.  But perhaps, just as important is that you are being given the opportunity to process all of the events that have led you to this place in time.
