For the week of July 27th thru August 3rd, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well:
Things could feel a little edgy and out of control in this weather. Knowing how to navigate this fiery, Martian weather is key for Aries, who is no stranger to this sort of climate. It will be hard to avoid some of that unstable and unpredictable energy. However, what Aries does have plenty of is courage, and the ability to think and act quickly, even under the most stressful of circumstances. But especially for Aries, there can actually be some benefits out of this volatile weather, and that is recognizing those things or circumstances over which you do have control, and those you simply don’t. Deep healing can be achieved when you come to accept that the human condition at best is flawed. If you are forced into a contentious situation, see if you can assert or defend yourself in positive and productive ways for the best outcomes.
Even though this is a particularly unpredictable and contentious Full Moon Lunar Eclipse, there are also opportunities here for you to heal and possibly even deepen understandings with others. See intense encounters with others as opportunities to transform your perspective, and gain some sort of inner understanding. It requires a bit of honesty with yourself, but it also has the capacity to strengthen bonds, and build trust. Not easy in this crazy Lunar weather. Sudden events could catch you off guard, but they could also present you with the opportunity to make long overdue changes. Just tread carefully. If you feel that you or your reputation are being compromised in any way, you may even think about taking yourself out of the limelight, or at least out of the line of fire. At least until things cool over. Sometimes retreat is the better part of valor.
Week one of Mercury retrograde is turning out to be one for the books, thanks to the crazy Full Moon Lunar Eclipse. Pace yourself, and ease into situations carefully. There’s no telling what you will be contending with in this unpredictable weather. Almost anything can happen here. What you do not want to do is stir up any more trouble than is already there. A lot of people are going to be on the edgy side, not only in and around the day of the eclipse, but for the whole next week, and possibly beyond that as well. And you will not want to get drawn into any contentious arguments that go nowhere fast. Best to back off and not engage people right now. But if you absolutely must defend yourself, make sure that you are armed with truth and facts. Avoid travel, but if you must, have your triple AAA updated, and do so with a strong dose of patience and understanding, especially if traveling overseas. It will serve you well.
Cancer is always sensitive to the vagaries of the Moon, all the more so as we try to navigate this crazy and treacherous Eclipse Season. Lunar Eclipses fall on the Full Moon, and can often bring the results and fruition of actions and events committed in the past. As a result of these, sudden and unexpected events and changes could arise that could test our patience, and even change our lives. Be vigilant and flexible, for there is no telling which way the wind will blow with this unpredictable weather. With Mars retrograde in Aquarius, it could also feel like people are more likely to push your buttons. This will take a lot of conscious awareness to handle, in order to not lose your cool. What the next few weeks are good for, is purging yourself of any old resentments and anger. This is a time for absolute honesty, both with yourself and others. But in a way that is taking into consideration the greater good of everyone concerned.
Ouch. This is a fiery and unpredictable Full Moon Lunar Eclipse and Leo could get caught in the cross hairs. One thing that is particularly relevant for Leo, is that there is a teaching moment here, and an opportunity to set the example for others. If you were to ask yourself, what you would like to be known for, what sort of example you would want to set for your children, this is your time to step up to the plate. It is especially when your last nerve is being tested, or when challenged by contentious or unpredictable events. People could be down-right annoying and even explosive in this weather, so tread carefully, and carry yourself with an air of dignity. If people do prove to be quite difficult, instead of reacting, think of this time as an invaluable opportunity to practice tolerance and patience. Patience, flexibility and the ability to roll with any unexpected changes or events are key this week. May the force be with you in doing so.
Week one of Mercury retrograde is something of a doozy. Restraint, wisdom and a bit of diplomatic savvy will serve you well. Recognize that it’s all in the delivery, and that a great deal more can be achieved towards healing and reconciliation, with even just a little bit of sugar. And things are not going to go away by avoiding them either. There is a bit of impatience that could be stirred up with this Lunar Eclipse this week, which won’t work either. You will probably be compelled to face, even those situations that you would probably most want to avoid, but do so in a way that is balanced and level-headed, as things could easily spiral out of control unexpectedly. That’s the craziness of this Eclipse weather. On the other hand, if a contentious situation is brought out into the open, it can also present as an opportunity to finally clear the air, and create changes that will benefit everyone involved. Patience and diplomacy are required.
There is an understanding with Libra, that even the most contentious of situations can be mediated in just the right way if skillfully managed, and diplomatically engaged. It’s all in the presentation. But it also requires honesty and authenticity in order to work. Especially in this crazy and confrontational weather we are having these days. But one sign we can count on to step in and negotiate this contentious and potentially explosive weather, is Libra, which is not to be underestimated in just these sorts of conditions. There is an art to walking on burning coals and coming out unscathed. One area where Libra may want to be more cautious is in the gym, or on the dance floor. Sounds a bit crazy, but injuries and stress are not unfathomable in this weather. Avoid pushing yourself or your body beyond its limits, and resist any urges to need to ‘win’ or show off (even a little). Patience with yourself and others is key to navigating this crazy Lunar Eclipse week.
It is probably wise not to take things too personally right now. There is a lot of volatility in the air, and the last thing you want is to get drawn into it, along with everyone and everything else. Like a black hole of unpredictable instability. As mentioned last week, it would be wise to think in terms of retreat and withdrawal, backing out of any confrontational situation. Not only now, but for the foreseeable future as well. This unstable weather could last for a while, and will take some adjustments over the next few weeks or even months. And although this could be a very irritating and edgy period for many people, there are also opportunities here for deep healing and acceptance. See opportunities for bringing things out into the open, as an important teaching moment. Air grievances, but also be open to the possibility of creating positive changes in yourself and your relationships with others.
Things said in the past could come back to haunt us this week, as the Lunar Eclipse brings things to a head. If faced with a confrontation, you will not have the patience for other people appearing ambiguous, vague or passively aggressive. The inclination will be to want to provoke people into an open confrontation. Not a good strategy in this weather, as it will only backfire, or blow up even further on down the road. Keep some opinions to yourself for now, and look for less blunt ways of saying what’s on your mind. Especially if you don’t want your words tossed back at you. A lot of people are sitting on tinder kegs ready to explode right now. Best not to provoke anyone or thing right now. One side note: with Mercury and Mars retrograde, the likelihood of machinery and vehicles breaking down seems to accelerate. Be prepared, just in case.
In the midst of the chaos of this Lunar Eclipse, there are some opportunities to strengthen and heal alliances and friendships. Passions can be stirred a positive way. However, the incendiary and unpredictable eclipse, with its attending aspects steals the show for the week, and cannot be ignored by anyone. Even stalwart and dependable Capricorn. Because the Eclipse is in Aquarius, there could be some issues, even conflict, concerning finances, or how resources and time are being spent. Perhaps a sudden change that you had not anticipated could set you back unexpectedly, or find you scrambling to set things straight. It would be unwise to make any spontaneous impulsive purchases at this time, no matter how pressured you may feel to do so. Especially when unexpected expenses could easily catch you off guard these days. Pace yourself, and your wallet. There’s no telling what may be greeting you around the next bend. Keeping your priorities in order will be immensely helpful right now.
Best to avoid trying to provoke Anyone (!), even in a passive off-hand sort of way. It won’t go well. If you re forced to engage in a confrontation, try not to take it personally on board. This is a very sketchy, inflammatory and unpredictable Full Moon Eclipse, and its effects and ramifications can extend, not only over the next few days, or even weeks, but possibly for months to come. Acting on anger or resentment is only going to blow up, and wreak all sorts of havoc. This is an eclipse of rapid change, riddled with unpredictability and sudden events that could even change the course of your life. It could very well be that you are needing to adjust to new changes, or skillfully manage unforeseen events. It takes vigilance, awareness and flexibility to navigate this weather, and not aggravating things further is really important. Anger and aggression ricochets. Best to retreat, go as slow as you can under the circumstances, and reserve your energy for when you will need it most. Those Aquarians who will likely feel this Eclipse most strongly are those born between January 22nd and the 28th, or who have 2-8º of Aquarius Rising.
Perhaps the only sign that (sort of) might escape the general chaos and mayhem of this Lunar Eclipse is Pisces. However, it does not eliminate all of the consequences, disturbances and unpredictable nature of this Full Moon. Even if nothing happens in your outer life, or you are not pulled up to task, this fiery Moon can still disturb our inner world, confounding our dreams, and waking us up in the middle of the night. This is the sort of Moon that can over-stimulate the psyche and stir up issues from the past. Do realize though that much of the world is a bit unstable. Therefore it would be much better for you to act from behind the scenes. At least for now. What this Moon is good for: purging yourself, and your mind, of any past resentments or anger that you’ve been carrying around. Unloading that baggage could take quite a load off your shoulders. Fit in some time for active mental health retreats: practice walking meditations, tai chi, yoga or qigong.
