For the week of June 1st thru the 8th, be sure to read your Rising Sign as well, if you know it:
What information will you need in order to create a plan for the foreseeable future? Who do you need to speak to, what do you need to hash out, what appointments do you need to make, where do you need to go? It is this sort of sorting out of your life that is being called for earlier this weekend. The earlier the better, for things could get really muddy later on in the week. The other issues with the latter part of the week is that it will be difficult to avoid distractions. And some of these ‘distractions’ could prove to be a little intense. In some way you may have to deal with your own, or someone else’s habits or fears, or face the honest truth about someone or something you’ve been trying to avoid. A wise woman once said, for every yes, there is also a ‘No’. Be clear about when and where you need to use that two letter word.
Your ruling planet Venus continues to travel in Cancer this week, a sign of peace, home, camaraderie, relatives and picnics. This is great for get-togethers, travel and gatherings, especially in the earlier part of the week. However, even the best of picnics can have its unwanted pests, guests and challenges. But before you get out that can of bug spray, stop and pay attention, for there may be something here to pay attention to. It may be someone, or something that you’ve been previously avoiding. And it may take a bit of humility and courage to confront those things, people or circumstances that are standing in the way of progress. And that vision for the future becomes, for you, a more meaningful, or ideal path. And the truth is, once you get those intense encounters behind you, at least you know what you are dealing with.
There are a few junctures within the year when we are given a perspective that allows us to see where we have come from, as well as where we want to go. It is often a time when things seem to be moving quite quickly, and this week, especially earlier in the week, will be no exception. However, this time around, even as you stand poised and ready to take that first step, there could be some confusion as to which direction to go. It may be that you have more than one direction to move into. Or you are a little skeptical, or confused about which is the best path. There may even be the feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop before you can make a positive commitment. Or you are being asked to go on faith, without being given a guarantee. In any case, it might be both prudent and wise, if things are very confounding, to wait until the way is clear, before making any major commitments.
From the sublime, to the intense, to the confusing, this week could feel a bit like you are riding an emotional wave. Luckily it is a beautiful and harmonious Grand Trine which highlights Venus traveling in your sign, that sets the tone for the week. Venus currently in Cancer guides you to center your heart on those things that bring you feelings of self-worth, happiness and comfort. Hold on to this vision, and allow that to guide you, even in times of conflict and confusion. Especially then. The issue, however, is that even the most idyllic Eden has its serpents lurking in the undergrowth. We’re all going to need to face one of those serpents in some department of our lives this week. With honesty and humility, you might want to ask yourself, what, or who, is standing in the way of personal fulfillment. Do not ignore any red flags if they arise. They are your guides. If you find yourself in a quandary, confused or bewildered by the last quarter Moon, keep things simple, and wait until the fog clears before making important decisions.
There are a few times each year that we are given the opportunity to gain some perspective on where you’ve come from and where you would like to go from here. Unfortunately, as can sometimes happen when you are standing on the peak of a mountain, clouds will rise obscuring the view, making it difficult to tell which direction to take. Rather than navigating blindly, wait until the cloud cover lifts, before making any important decisions. Cloud cover can come in many guises: daily distractions, shapeshifting messages, conflicting obligations, deception from others, or even from yourself. Things look differently in the fog than they do when the weather is clear. What this weather is good for: stillness, dreaming, walks in nature, creative reverie and inner contemplation.
Do bask in the glory of your achievements this week, but do not tarry too long, or you may lose your way. This is one of the few times each year when you are given a vantage point, allowing you to see where you have come from, but also where you want to go from here. It could seem as if things are moving quite quickly, and it will be all you can do to keep up with all of the frenetic comings and goings, and changes in plans. In order to not become overwhelmed, take each chore, each obligation, one at a time, one day at a time, and avoid taking on more than you can handle, or you will find yourself grasping for a life raft. The last quarter Moon could be particularly treacherous, as discrimination is being compromised. Don’t believe everything you hear, and don’t say everything that is on your mind. Some things are better kept to oneself, until clarity resumes.
If you’ve ever played jumprope, then you know that timing is everything. This weekend you are being asked to jump in, but to do so in such a way that you do not lose your equilibrium. Things are moving pretty quickly, so it will take a certain amount of skill to be able to act, without disturbing the momentum or lose your cool. And you won’t want to lose your cool. There is something that is both sublime and compelling that is calling you this week, and the key is to be able to maintain your composure and serenity, even in what might feel to be busy and or challenging circumstances. There could also be some old demons coming home to roost. And if that is the case, you might also want to humbly ask yourself what you need to do to cast them out. And to do so without losing your serenity. Sometimes all it takes is a little humility, courage, and self-compassion.
It may be that you are considering some serious changes. But before you even get there, you might want to prepare yourself with knowledge and information. Preparedness is everything. Ask questions, become informed, know what you need. There are probably still a few twists and turns ahead, but being informed will be key, in being able to go forward with confidence in the direction of your dreams. However, do be aware that there is such a thing as too much information, especially when things don’t seem to be adding up. Therefore, get the information you need, but if things feel a little overwhelming as we move into the middle of the week, put some things on the shelf, before making any definite commitments. In this weather it is important for you to be tuned into what you are feeling about things first. Mental clarity will follow later.
A little peace and quiet, and a comfortable retreat is a good way to set the tone for the rest of the week. As you get in touch with your inner yearnings and highest ideals, you might want to also ask yourself what is standing in the way of achieving these? One of the things that Sagittarians are coming to grips with this week is what is or is not realistically achievable, financially, or otherwise. It may take a little bit of humility and courage, but sometimes you have to tally the numbers, and understand where you need to cut corners, and when you need to say No. Even when you would really really rather say Yes. It doesn’t help that people prove to be immensely perplexing this week, saying one thing one day, and something else the next. That kind of ambiguity is definitely not something you would want to hang a hat on. Best to wait until all parties are clear about being on the same page.
This is a good week to gather the tribe and close in the circle. You need all the support you can get. And this is the week to cultivate it. Even relationships with people who have been annoying you can be eased over when Venus is in the sign of Cancer. It can even help to resolve any conflicts, remembering that forgiveness is not about what the other person did or did not do, it’s about allowing yourself to let go. What you learn from your encounters with others this week, could be a little intense, it may even push a few buttons. But is could also prove to be self-empowering and transformative. Clarity, strength and healing comes in so many different guises.
There is a momentum that carries you through the weekend, and even the week ahead, perhaps tripping over your own feet in the process, but carried forward nonetheless. There is a certain gratification that comes from being appreciated by those who love and adore you, but that love and adoration can prove to be fickle and short-lived, so don’t depend on it too heavily. Once you find your momentum, you are the one who is going to have to keep feeding it in the end. So blow your own horn, and feel a little righteous and lawless. Not so much that you leave any casualties behind. Just enough to let people know who and what exactly you are.
You may not be able to clearly see where you want, or need, to go in the foreseeable future, so begin by feeling what feels right to you. As the week progresses you may be required to navigate via your inner gps system and a little bit of faith. Most Pisces people have a profoundly strong intuition. But even your well honed inner senses may fail as the week progresses. That is because we are encountering extremely foggy and misty weather that could easily send us off in the wrong direction without a paddle to steer, or a map to guide us. If things get too confusing, the best advice is to retreat and wait it out until the weather clears up again. In some way we are all being asked to pause, assimilate and process before moving forward or making any major commitments. This is probably good advice for everyone this week, as we wait for the weather to clear.
