Saturn is coming to the bending of the Nodes, and this week Venus comes to join Saturn. Next week this will be followed by Mars. This can feel like we are standing between two worlds: between the past and the future, between the old and the new. But even as we do so, we are also standing here in the dark of the moon, holding on to these ephemeral sparks of hope. We are on our way.

A Full Moon in Virgo is shining a light on those things that bring us the most meaning in our lives, what we care most about, and how we can place ourselves in greater service to these. From the futility of despair to the heights of compassion and Oneness, the Sun is conjunct Neptune this week, reminding us of the ultimate reality of our universal interdependence. Venus and Mars make another conjunction immediately after simultaneously entering the sign of Aquarius this weekend. This was the exact degree of the Great Conjunction in December of 2020. This is also when Venus is finally picking up speed and emerging out of her shadow period. The Mayans saw in Venus as a morning star, a god of war. The above painting by Edward Burne-Jones depicts Merlin, who had fallen in love with Nimue, the lady of the lake. Old mysteries surface which we suffer to solve, while some of the pieces are long lost and buried somewhere else, in some other lifetime. And yet we are meant to make sense of all this. Also note that something interesting is coming, and you won’t want to miss this.
