The Old Year & the Full Moon in Cancer

The Full Moon in Cancer is normally a time for gathering with family and loved ones, as well as a time for nostalgic celebration of the year that was and gazing with a healthy resolve towards the year to come. And even though we may have to see family on Zoom or FaceTime, and there is nothing normal about 2020, the annual ritual of saying goodbye to what was (perhaps gleefully so) and greeting the New Year to come (maybe with a little trepidation), remains the time honored tradition that it always was.

The Great Conjunction of 2020

On Thursday, December 17th, Saturn entered Aquarius, followed by Jupiter entering Aquarius on the 19th. Then on the Solstice, December 21st they will be exactly conjunct. The last time this close a conjunction was this visible was in 1226! These conjunctions of the two largest planets in our Solar System are known as Great Conjunctions. May the Great Conjunction of 2020 lead us onward to greater and more magnificent horizons.

Between the Eclipses

We are now in the void between the Lunar and Solar Eclipses. Things fade. Other things are trying to unfold. What that exactly is, is still somewhat uncertain for now. Eclipses are so unpredictable.
